Joe Burrow looked very pedestrian tonight, even with a solid run game and defense supporting him. Take away the long TD pass to Higgins that was the most absurd non-OPI call in history and his night was flat out bad. Forgive me for not believing the difference between our two teams is the quarterback.
Not forgiven! :)

Nutty how we can sit here for a thread this big and debate something that seems so easy. They are two good, talented QBs that have different traits and characteristics.. just go with it, we can't always have the best of everything.

Bengals are well coached and the least penalized team in the league. cardinals would have like 5 false starts and 2 late hits in that games. Their o-line is better, their receiving core is better, there defensive line and pass rush is way better. Y’all need to stop with saying talent is a wash.

Lol you must not have watched our playoff game because joe almost won tonight despite a record number of sacks. Kyler looked like worst QB in the history of the playoffs.

I dont think he was use to a Dline that fast. He ran into a couple sacks when he should have tried throwing the ball away.

Kyler technically had two games in the regular season with QBR's higher than Burrow today. 80/40 to Burrow's 39. His wrs made some incredible catches on their two big pass plays.

Burrow's really good. He should be thankful that maybe the most physical defense in the AFC is his own.

Taylor was an 0-3 start to 2021 from being fired.

That online gave up the most sacks this season, and 20 in 4 playoff games.

I'd say the receivers, RB, d-line, and LBs are all an upgrade over what Cardinals have. Defensive coaches are also an upgrade.

The oline that got burrow sacked a super bowl record number of times tonight? Okay. Lol.

He maybe did (at least in recent memory). His QBR was 8. The next week Brady just posted a 13. That Higgins facemask TD probably jumped his up 12 points (39). Kyler can be all time bad the 3rd time he faced the Rams and Joe could be still not be that great either.

Sorry, I'm not following. Kyler had 11 regular season games with higher QBR than Burrow had tonight. And he had a higher QBR than Burrow in the regular season, as a whole.

O-line opened holes for Mixon. The end

Oh I know that. Im saying Kyler's two games vs the Rams (week 4/84.8) and (week 14/39.8) were higher than his 39.7 today.

Burrow actually won a playoff game with 0 tds and a 28 QBR. Must be nice or maybe just his leadership forcing Tannehill to throw 3 ints.

I kid, I really do like Joe. My favorite guy at the position.

I read somewhere Conner received contact the quickest amongst rbs besides Najee Harris. We gotta get some knock back on the Oline. Taylor deserves blame for not running Mixon 25 times today.

I'd take Allen over anybody today, then Mahomes. Burrow and Kyler are very close to me.

Well getting penalized for a non dressed player coming on the field to celebrate is pretty bad. A late hit by OL also. But not difficult to be more disciplined than the Cardinals.

Agreed.

I'll be curious how he does without Daboll. However, he's the #1 guy to me. Only cause I gotta dock Mahomes for the choke job against the Bengals. He had Kelce and Hill and still posted a 2nd half QBR worse than Kyler's playoff game...

I got it like this amongst young guys.

Allen
Mahomes
Burrow (My head says Herbert would have won the Super Bowl with this Bengals team..but cant do what ifs)
Herbert
Murray - We probably bring back 34 yr old AJ Green, lol
Jackson - Feel like his OC holds him back.

take away 662 of barry bonds home runs and he only has 100 home runs, what's your point?

burrow completed 66% of his passes while being sacked 7 times behind a putrid offensive line. he played a better game than stafford did

Comparing Kyler’s performance in our playoff game to what Joe Burrow did tonight is silly.

Burrow had a ton of time to throw for most of the game, I believe the Rams only had 1 sack and 2 total pressures at the half. They changed their pressure schemes in the 2nd half and had more success but you can't put those sacks on his OL while you put all of Kyler's sacks on Kyler. Burrow held the ball and didn't hit the hot reads.. The Bengals OL was better in this game than the Cardinals OL was against these same Rams.

I like Herbert a lot too. I'm sure LAC fans do as well, even though he hasn't made the playoffs and lost a game against the lowly Raiders to miss it this year. Maybe they understand... it takes a team.

What are you even talking about? The Raiders were a playoff team.

The Chargers did lose to the Jets tho. Sad!
