The GOAT. Tom Brady 13.4 with Mike Evans still there as his #1 (they almost won)

That very same week Jimmy G won a playoff game with Deebo Samuel and a QBR of 11.9 against the Packers.

Bengals game Burrow had 125 yards from two jump ball prayers that his WRs went up an made.

Rams are really great and we really need Hopkins and maybe a legit #2 to beat them. Obviously Kyler has to play MUCH BETTER as well.

Mike Evans isn't #1. Godwin is #1 and he was out.

He will be back tomorrow

In the future he should only flip me off in PMs

Come on man. That was just a joke. I wasn't being serious. That was like when your buddy or your wife flips you off for a wise crack.

But I'll make sure to flip you off in PM's next time.

For all the disagreement on Kyler I think the vast majority of us would agree that he needs to get better and is not where we expected him to be in either on field play or leadership.

We all want him to stay. He is an immense physical talent. But he is behind where he should be and needs to step up.

QB isn't like playing CB3. You can't just show up, do your thing, and go home to the wife or play COD with your buddies. It doesn't matter how good his play is on the field, if he can't elevate those around him with his leadership he won't win anything.

Godwin had 13 more targets than Evans in 3 less games. Likely would have ended 150 vs 100 had Godwin not gone out.
While Evans almost having tripled the amount of TDs.

Evans & Godwin have played together for 5 years & there’s only 1 year where you can say Godwin outperformed Evans.

Evans has more of a case of being WR1 over Godwin if anything, but I think it makes more sense labeling them 1A & 1B, which speaks about their talent level.

Special type of reaching here.
Not reaching at all, just saying that coach bro is all about relaxing the rules to make the young players feel like "he gets them." Not a great atmosphere where you're supposed to be a "leader of men."

year 1 he was way better than I expected. Given his lack of PT in college and where he played NFL caliber WR's always open, I thought he was much better than I figured. year 2 he was better than I expected largely because he was so much better as a runner, and far fewer run backwards into big sacks. Year 3 first half was great, much better than I figured, 2nd half, bad, worse than I expected.

So where he left off in year 3 yes below my expectations, but overall he's turned out to be a much better player than I figured he'd be at this point.

But he has to take that next step and I agree it's going to be about learning the nuances of the position. When you watch Warner break down tape and he starts explaining stuff you realize how complicated it is. When you see games in person with an overhead view you say man that guy is wide open but then when you see it from the angle the QB is seeing it you realize he has to throw over this guy and keep it away from that guy.

Guys like Brady and Rodgers make it look so easy

Maybe, hopefully, km will read/listen to all the criticisms that are being said about him and will rethink and change some things to his and the teams betterment.

It's true

He has improved in some areas but its minor compared to where he should be.

He's got better at the intermediate throws but most other things he's pretty much where he was or the improvement is small.

Things like reading defenses has barely changed and he's way behind where I expected (or other 3rd year top 10 picks have been)

Cosell just crushed Kyler on the Ross Tucker podcast. Basically calling out he is still largely the same QB as he was year 1 from a fundamentals standpoint.
What I SMDH at the most on this forum is when I see the Kliff play all bashing. I see Murray miss a ton of opportunities. This isn't Mike McCoy offense where all of the receivers are covered, Murray just isn't a developed QB at this point. I find it hard to believe that a coach like Kingsbury is to blame; he's worked with quite a few successful QBs.

I do think Kingsburys play calling gets a bit suspect when the Cardinals are down, but I've seen McVay do the same thing as well. He's just lucky to have Aaron Donald who is the unsung best player in football. Replace Donald with Fletcher Cox and the Rams lose that game by 10+. Donald is unreal and might be the best defensive player I've ever seen.

What sucks is that the Cardinals haven't done a proper rebuild during the Keim era and I think it's going to catch up to them soon.

This.

Murray has to get better. He's just making too many damn mistakes. I love the national media spin: Cardinals rely too much on Murray.....yeah so does every good NFL team!!!

Should be noted he also said he doesnt know what Murray is being taught by Kingsbury and within the more Air Raid offense.

Mahomes and Manziel had the same problems as Kyler.

Is Kyler not learning enough or is Kliff not teaching enough? Maybe both.

Great foundation for Mahomes in KC helps a ton.

Since Kyler was drafted, Keim has only drafted two offensive players who ever see the field. One was benched for the corpse of Max Garcia, and the other one runs all of his routes 3 yards behind the LOS.

I am not excusing Kyler's idiocy. I just want to point out that the guy building an offense around our young QB on a rookie contract has failed miserably at providing young, cap-friendly support.

* I realize Keim traded picks for Nuk and Hudson, but it's not the same as drafting a young core around your QBOTF.

And Hudson was kinda meh if we're being honest. Garcia/Cole being terrible the couple years make Hudson look much better. He's part of the problem in the lack of push in our running game.

We had a chance in 2019 in a draft with pro bowl wrs after the 1st round to really load up. We whiffed big time. Gotta add Hunter Renfroe as another guy we missed out on.

Normally I'd agree. However, drafting 3 wrs that combine for 1 reception in their 3rd year nothing becomes fair. It was a complete failure by the organization to find talent at that position. And to be fair I remember people saying Renfroe looked better than Isabella Senior Bowl week. I could have swore it was Daniel Jeremiah I believe. Its not as big of an issue if they addressed other spots with a couple of those picks.

The problem is that he isn't in a position to make the next step. He needs to take two or three steps to up his game to the point where it was to start LAST season. He regressed that far and he has to re-learn what he forgot. THEN he has to take two or three steps beyond that. It's a daunting task he faces. Not an impossible one, but, with his mindset, quite improbably. If he completely changes his attitude and approach--a huge ask at this point--he has the talent to do it. A huge, huge if, and I'm not prepared to believe it. And I won't believe it if we're 7-0 or 10-0. I'll believe it when he wins a game of actual consequence and we make some real noise.

I agree with a lot of this. I also question KK's play calling because why the hell can't we run crossing routes? Why can't we do some of those simple, easy things to set our WRs up for YAC?

The Isabella pick for me is the worst of Keim's career. I know Kliff influenced it, which is a lot of ways makes it worse for both Kliff and Keim.

But I don't know anyone outside PFF who thought Isabella was worthy of being picked where he was. I don't recall any fans being high on Isabella pre draft. He just didn't look like an NFL caliber WR. He really failed the eye test.
