Calais Campbell is going to have a HUGE season. Not a good season for a youngster, not an impressive season for a second year guy, a 6'8, 290 lbs HUGE season!

Back-to-back sacks, consistent pressure on the quarterback, and the man knows how to hold down the edge. Now I know a lot of people are upset about last night, but let's shake it off Cards Fans - this season is going to be GREAT!

One of the few positives from last night

I think we all should take some Valium with our 6 pack before the opener

For the record: the Eagles defense is supposed to be a top 5 defense this season yet they have allowed more points than us so far this preseason. Cannot put much stock into this boys.

Hope you're right because we definately need it. The only reason I have doubts about him having a big year sackwise is because those sacks generally come from the OLB'ers in the 3-4. If we are truely going to run that defense I would look for a much lower total. Calais has definately shown he has some talent to play at this level.

You have to remember this is the Cardinals. The player with the highest single season sack total since 2004 is....Darnell Dockett with 9 in 2007.

I wonder if the Cards have plans to run a blitz package where CC with his 6'8" self and 10' long arms is dropping into hot zones etc. ?

possible about CC

I'm on week 14 in Madden '10 and Campbell leads the NFL with 15 sacks, 2 FF, Fumble recovery for a TD and a 40 yard INT return for a TD. He's ripping it up there at least!:D

sounds like a contract holdout in your next season if you're playing a franchise :D

Only 15 sacks?? If it were me playing, he'd have 42

I went back and forth on whether to get an authentic Travis Laboy or Calais Campbell jersey last October. Glad I went with #93

Dude, no disrepect, but you are far from the first to say this.
