All I saw is the current youngest coach in the NFL on his FIRST ever lead gig outcoach our "old guy."

I didn't, I saw Bettcher get ***** slapped by the Ram's staff and the funny thing is that the Rams didn't have to do anything to outsmart him. He could not even come up with a reasonable approach at kick off, enacting the worst possible soft zone defense which made the game a contest of pass and catch in all the open space in relation the the offense the Rams run... Bettcher's resume before being DC probably only qualifies him to be a DC for a division two college and it shows

It all rolls uphill.

I still blame his (Bettcher's) boss.

Its not entirely an excuse for the way they played, but I think it was a mistake for the Cardinals to fly back to Phoenix right after the game. The players would have had to bag up their belongings and check out of the hotel. So what they had facing them was a 12 hour flight while they were feeling the pain of the game on a plane that was very unlikely to have lie flat seats for all the players. What I am saying is that this could well have created some anxiety for players during the game. It would have been much better to do what the Rams did. Stay in London overnight and fly back today.

If any of these players were thinking about what the plane ride home was going to be like during the game then they need to be cut immediately. This has to be one of the lamest excuses for this team I have ever heard. Maybe the team should have given them all a blankey and a teddy bear for the trip home. Pipe in some nice soft music to quiet their nerves.

Hmmm...yeah, not exactly an in-depth apprenticeship prior to becoming the Cards DC.
