I think Winston getting released just made Levi's value go down. I think most teams would eye him as a right tackle, at best. Now there is a better option on the market.

Good point. And given that Winston was $5.5M dollar cut, that perhaps the market is between that number and say $7.5... not 8, 9, 10 as some have speculated.

Reportedly, Seattle wants Mario Williams. Ugh. I can't decide if I would rather see a rookie go against him twice a year or Levi. Both options make me cringe.

Have to disagree. Even though Levi is an average or worse left tackle IMO, we just have to look back a few years to see how Dallas, Philly, and the Giants were chasing after Leonard Davis. If you can stay healthy and stay out of jail and 'play' left tackle, a team will think they can coach you up and will sign you to a lucrative deal. Levi is gone IMO.

One important detail he was originally drafted and played offensive guard. Nobody knows if Levi Brown can play guard except for maybe the Cardinals. The Dallas Cowboys saw what they believed to be a good guard not tackle and that's what they paid him for and that's where they played him. Levi Brown on the other hand doesn't have three seasons under his belt in the NFL at guard. If people want him and are willing to pay him big money to play left tackle IMO they're more than welcome to him.

1. Not that the news would be any sort of shocker, but the report hasn't been confirmed anywhere I'm aware of. (I'd like to see the same info from 2 independent reliable sources).

2. Present in most of the PFT posts was a perception of Levi as described in his pre-draft write-ups.

Most non-Cardinal fans are clueless about what's actually going on with Team Cardinal and get most of their info 3rd-hand or even worse.

Jeff, its on the Card's official site that Levi has been cut (one hour ago).

We have no Tackles- but I think all could spew a little more poison on Levi after the fact, It will be a challenge considering how bad Arizona Fans treated him while he was here.

I haven't heard of anyone bringing Levi in for a visit yet.

I'm surprised because Levi went from the worst Left Tackle in the NFL Monday to a prize free agent Left Tackle today. You would think several teams would want a guy who could improve that quickly.

Such is life when you get taken before an electrifying running back and right after the best LT in the league and then play at a very pedestrian level. He should be glad he ended up in Arizona and not NY, play like that there given his draft status and he'd have been ripped to shreds. Highly doubt fans are berating him in public (probably afraid to even look someone that big in the eyes), so unless he reads Cards message boards I highly doubt he's had fans opinion impact his life. Hard to feel bad for a guy that's made that much money.

Exactly. Doesn't look like teams are knocking down his door quite yet.

Levi treated the fans & Cards poorly with his performance on the field

 See ya, go rob $$$ from another franchise #75

Of the first 12 draft picks (2007-2008) of the Whisenhunt era only 2 are still on the team and Doucet may be gone by the end of the week.

1 Franchise player and 11 duds. Half of the picks from 2009 are already off the team.

On the other hand the 2010 and 2011 drafts look like winners.

There are more draft picks from before the Whiz era than from his first 2 draft classes. From the pre-Whiz era:

AW
Fitz
DD
Deuce*

However, all of the 2007 draft is all gone and after Doucet signs somewhere else, only 7th rounder from 2008 Brandon Keith(full body shiver) will be left from the 2008 draft.

Actually all the 2008 draft class except for Calais Campbell are gone as Doucet and Keith are free agents and technically no longer Cardinals. Duece two.

Hard to believe the Cards only have 1 player left on their roster from the 26 selected during the 2005-2008 drafts. I don't think that is how you are supposed to build through the draft.

I just hope the 2012 draft is as good as the last two.

Pretty sad when Leanord Davis is getting interviewed by multiple teams, yet Brown can't even get his name mentioned. Further solidifies my opinion that Brown is pathetic as an OT.

Ok for like 1m, 1.5m tops. Maybe 2m.
lol. If Stewart Bradley received a $35M contract, you can bet Levi Brown will get at least $50M with $20M guaranteed, only from the Cards of course. I would be reluctant to sign him for a bag of chips, but Graves and company have their way of doing business...
