Last time Cardinals passed up Lightning in a Bottle ( Adrian Peterson), they never got another chance. Imagine Tavon Austin with the 1st pick ( #7 ). Dare to dream.

Please. Austin is no where near the player AP was in college. K9's comparison to Ted Ginn seems closer to an All-Pro mistake by the Cards.

If you want lightning in a bottle, I would take Jarvis Jones. We need someone to terrorize the opposing QB's.

I feel vindicated. Rams moved up to #8 to snatch him away from the Jets, after he was passed over by the Cards. 1st skill position player taken.

Did the Rams draft a short receiver because Bradford likes to throw passes into the turf?

Austin isn't gonna amount to much, in my opinion.. He might be ok, maybe.. But I dont see him become this phenomenal world beater jumping thru hula hoops in the sky while wearing glitterized Evil Kenivel jumpsuits with lit sparklers coming out his a** on his way to the end zone that some people see..

.......well, I have to admit, if that did happen, I would pay to see it.

That is a 5/5 description of what would be one heck of a TD score.

Tavon Austin = Ted Ginn, Jr. The comparison is so utterly obvious that Austin's proponents refuse to even engage it.

I havent engaged it because it is an utterly riduciulous comparision.

Lets start off with they dont even play the same way. Austin is smaller, quicker, and has better body control than Ginn.

Second, their numbers dont even compare:

AUSTIN
Receiving

SEASON REC YDS AVG LNG TD
2012 114 1289 11.3 75 12
2011 101 1186 11.7 72 8
2010 58 787 13.6 71 8

Rushing
ATT YDS AVG LNG TD
72 643 8.9 74 3
16 182 11.4 80 1
15 159 10.6 46 1

GINN
Receiving

REC YDS AVG LNG TD
51 803 15.7 73 4
59 781 13.2 58 9

Rushing
Att YDS AVG TD
9 72 8 1

Ginn's best yesr receving was Austins worse. Austin was so much more productive in college. While Ginn and Austin ran similiar 40 times, Ginn does not have the same change of direction that Austin has.

I will just hit you back up when Austin tears through the NFC west this year.
