If we are counting this preseason game as "an NFL game" than we have to count what he did last preseason. He went 27/46 (59%), 370 yards (8 YPA), threw 2 TDs and had no interceptions. I would say those are at least decent numbers.

Those aren't bad numbers at all. We never got to see him in a real game so who knows if he has improved from the KW days. Either way, I hope the best for Ryan as he never really got a decent chance. Hope he plays really well tomorrow and some team picks him up for a 2nd stringer.

Peyton Manning would have looked like an idiot behind D'Anthony Batiste and Adam Snyder. Lindley may or may not have talent, but the truth is that we don't know much of anything. He won't stay on this team though.

Adios Lindley, when Arians mentioned that players were auditioning for everyteam, not just the Cardinals.... he wasn't just talking receivers. Trade value is zilch, but his time here was spent with an Arians attitude and never pouted. I want to see more Thomas too, but again Arians intrigues me because Thomas aint going to top what he did on Saturday against the Vikings, on the road. Keep that confidence up, let him absorb it instead of going right back in, and let Lindley try to make his mark with the talented squad we have, hopefully he lands somewhere not in the NFCW.

It was always my understanding that teams needed 4 arms for camp but this article refutes that.

Those individual drills are why you need a camp arm. Group/team work there weren't enough reps.

Also, if Carson had a dead arm or something Lindley would be needed.

I'm not suggesting it will happen but if we trade any QB, it will be Stanton.

Lindley is gone for sure. He sucked under pressure late in the game

Stared down his receivers and did not read the D. Threw it to his first read all the time

This was BA giving Lindley one last chance and an opportunity to maybe get picked up by another team. Holy crap he was bad tonight. Just all over the place.

There was never a "last chance" for Lindley. The writing has been on the wall since Logan Thomas was drafted. The only reason Lindley is on the roster is for insurance purposes if, God forbid, something happened to one of the other three QBs.

What's worse for Lindley is he's not practice squad eligible, and I HIGHLY DOUBT he's going to get picked up off of waivers and put on someone's active roster. That said, I hope his resume is slick looking.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for trade offers for Lindley. Even against the Vikings 3rd stringers he had trouble making the correct decision. Especially the throw into double coverage near the end zone on the Cards' last touchdown drive. He somehow missed Walt Powell standing wide open 10 feet in front of him. Maybe Whiz would give something, but I am not too worried if we just cut him at this point.

Yeah, my hope was there before the game. Faded pretty quickly when he took the field.

There was a quite a few quality hand-offs, so Lindley can always hope that THESMEL gets a coaching gig in the future.

Look for the Niners or Seahawks to pick him up briefly to get insight into our offensive playbook.

Eh.. probably not, it's apparent he doesn't know much about our playbook.
