boy you guys are all over the place  I'm surprised! Some of you guys would take Udeze and Taylor as the first pick? Has a safety ever been a first pick before?

Agreed. Though I think Rivers might surprise everyone 5 years down the road. He just has too much heart to not succeed.

Why does Rivers need so much time to develop, in some ways he seems like the most prepared QB of them all (well except probably Eli) He has great Accuracy...he is like a rough athletic talent that has to work on his mechanics I don't think...

No DB has ever been picked overall #1 in draft history going back to the first one in 1936.

I'm also surprised at the number of people that like Roethlisberger over Manning. I thought I was in a small sliver of the population in that thinking.

1. Ben Roethlisberger
2. Larry Fitzgerald
3. Eli Manning
3a. Robert Gallery
3b. Sean Taylor (tie)
I almost put Tommy Harris in at the # three tie too, but then concluded he's probably a just tad below the others.

3a and 3b???

Ok, sure. :D

1) Eli
2) Taylor
3) Jackson
3a) Chris Gamble
3b) DeAngelo Hall

Of course, these are drafted players for the Cards...Fitz would be higher in my book, probably 2 or 3, if we didn't already have Boldin. If Mike Williams were in there, he'd be my number one.

It wasn't to predict the 1st 3 picks, but to list the top 3 players you want in order for the Cards to get if any 1 fell to the #3 spot.

I understand that but the question is who would we take if we could pick anybody... that means that some people would take Taylor even if we had the first pick.
