Of course the Suns get the first guy not in the green room.

This week: "We got the player we wanted."

Next week: "We didn't want to let Steve Nash go, but we feel like we found his replacement."

Marshall wasn't even invited to the draft, that's how bad he is.

I like Marshall. I would have liked him a little lower than #13, but at least the Suns did not pass on any of the wings they coveted.

Sounds like a less athletic worse defending poorer shooting version of Dragic.

2000x better at running the offense and passing

The problem is who is he going to pass to?

Telfair, Dudley, Gortat, Warrick ,Childress, Frye?........ Disgusting.

Hopefully this is the last time we pick between #12-14.................. but at least we tried to make the playoffs last year when we were far out of the picture already.

And there the Suns totally failed again. They wanted a SG , sit at #13 after refusing to tank, and all 5 shooting guard prospects go before #13.

Who would you rather have had at #13... The good players were already taken..

You could chose between

Marshall
Henson - stiff
Zeller
Harkless
PJIII - huge risk and meniscus issue
Sullinger - slow, undersized, back issues
Moultrie..

The Suns played themselves out of the range where you can draft players with great upside..

The only players left in the draft with high upside are Tony Wroten and Quincy Miller imo and they are risky picks.

What I don't get is that the Suns made NONE attempt to move around in the draft, nothing. Didn't even hear the slightest rumor.. This front office just did nothing but wait what would happen..

Meh, I'm not disappointed. They got a guy who will be a legitimate NBA player. Maybe he's never going to be a 1st team All Star, but with the 13th pick, they probably got a guy will rate higher in this draft in 10 years and will still be in the league.

I love when we see all these traits to remind us how bad the New York Knicks front office is.

just because YOU didn't read any rumors about moving up doesn't mean that they didn't try at all.

I'll take this pick. He's a smart on court player who may not be super athletic but makes good decisions with the ball. That's a PG.

The good thing is that he can be the player that passes to the studs we draft over the next few years assuming we tank properly. And he won't be a star so we can keep him cheap and pay these future stars max contracts.

In all likelihood, he'll be our transitionary Sam Cassell of this era.

This front office did not seem very good at keeping things secret ( see Waiters ) and then throw in Chad Fords comment that Phoenix is doing nothing.

Way better PGs in next year's draft than Marshall

No they didn't try moving up at all.

Many insiders have reported rumors about other teams trying to trade for picks or trade down or whatever, but absolutely nothing from Phoenix.

You are living in denial if you think the Suns FO is any good.
