Hell, I remember when local TV stations and papers would ROUTINELY misspell it.

I'm still shocked Michael had the Hawks GM in the suite with him the day before. But hey Keim wasn't laughing, he prolly spiked his drink full of Malox because he will never forget 58-0 ;)

The Cardinals are currently running a video on their facebook page as a preview for the upcoming Seattle game with the song "I am gonna whip somebody's ass" :)

It makes you wonder who does the research for these guys. Maybe they are just lazy and assume that's how it's spelled.

Just like the old Cards logo. Takes ESPN many years to catch up with us. But if it was the Cowboys or Pats, this wouldn't happen

Of course the announcers were going to rave about the Cardinals front office. Not only is it deserved but one of the announcers is Sean McDonough, the brother of Terry McDonough the vice president of player personnel.

I think I saw on Twitter where Urban said that Keim and the GM of the Seahawks are friends.

Well, this is the same network that showed Jonathan Cooper and said it was Darnell Dockett.

First question in (print) journalism after you get someone's name: How do you spell that?

This mistake is elementary and inexcusable. :mulli:

Here's another snafu from ESPN. I thought we got another backup for Carson Palmer. :)

Yeah, well Louis Riddick on NFL Insiders just now called Deone... Dion. Like broadcasters haven't said his name about ten thousand times this year on TV... Of course, telemarketers mispronounce my name all the time too!

Sincerely,

Dick Enberg, one of my favorite announcers, asks the players how they pronounce their names. He's been a pleasure to listen to, for all these years, because he does his homework.

One of my all time favorites also.

Hard to believe these guys can't do a little homework and learn how to pronounce players and owners names.
