Drysdale was on the Rams broadcasts? That's awesome.

Trivia: Vin Scully did play-by-play for CBS for the 1981 NFC Championship game, the classic Niner victory with "The Catch" that started the Niner dynasty. Until discovering that a few years ago, I'd totally forgotten that Scully ever did NFL work.

Yep. And he knew a lot about football.

One of the best parts of those years was Drysdale's post-game interviews. He was well-liked by both the Rams and Angels players and his vocabulary was Arians-like. Some of the exchanges were epic.
