Top two QBs for the Cards are Kizer and Watson. They feel Kizer has the higher ceiling, Watson for intangibles. Mahomes and Trubisky -- they are "meh"

Team has targeted five defensive players at 13: Lattimore, J. Adams, M. Hooker, Rueben Foster and.......Hassan Reddick. (Guessing their analysis says Garret, Allen, maybe Thomas are gone). If all five are gone at 13--- desire is to trade down.

If no trade down, they take one of the QBs

Hard to believe anyone would leak info THAT specific to Gambo. Sounds more like a hallucination he had after ingesting too much Pei Wei for the 14th time this week.

I kind of agree, have to believe the Cards will look to continue to add to a young talented defense in the first round (although i would add Peppers to that list). I would expect the fall back plan (if all defensive targets are taken) to include one or two of the top wr prospects and whatever qbs they have rated higher.

I like a plan like that. But it's not insight, it's just Gambo taking a shot in the dark for radio. But I still like it, take best defensive player on your list or try to trade down. No trade option take a shot on a QB.

yeah, someone may have given him that info but it doesnt make it right, it makes it what the team wants people to hear.

I agree on Peppers. I think he's underrated. I wouldn't be shocked if was our pick at 13.

Agree. No one is leaking specific information like that. It's ludicrous to even entertain the thought.

All looks solid to me.

Those who hate on him can cry all they want, but Kizer is in fact the best fit for our offense. He is a prototype BA QB. He is easily the most "pro style" QB of this class. Not even close. Everybody else has a playground style which has always failed in the NFL.

Interesting that Conley isnt on that defensive list. Lattimore is sure to be gone...so does that mean we dont take a CB at #13? Thats scary.

Glad to see Allen is on the board. He very well could slide, and if he does, we should sprint to the podium. Perfect CC replacement.

I think it's entirely possible that they want to check off the QBOF off their list. They could get playing time this season already if things go wrong. They need someone to learn the system and to start to groom someone to start competing with the Rams and Goff, whiners and whoever they get this season, moving forward. FO doesn't want to get left behind. I don't agree that it has to be @ 13. They can trade back into the first round if they want to.

Don't like the Lattimore option at all. Too fragile, reminds me of Claybourne. He'll have a lot of growing to do. I like the Conley or Humphries option better than him...
