When police spoke to the couple they found that they had been in previous altercations which were not reported to the police. Highly likely this was not the first time he laid his hands on a woman. This was likely an escalation of previous incidents.

And, in the player conduct policy, Goodell can include things like any history of the cops coming to their house because of them fighting. Hell, it even says he can include facts from BEFORE he even entered the NFL.

They had facts like a broken collarbone and bruises on her neck. So, him getting arrested in the first place was justified. I don't think the cops were so bored with their day that they decided to just make up crap to put in the report.

Well duh...However how those facts happened is all based on "he said she said".

I think some of you guys think we are saying that DWash didn't do it or something, all I am saying at least is that he may or may not have done it in a very malicious way with intention to hurt her, but I don't know the facts to support either claim.

On a serious note, he was trying to leave, had it been the other way around (her trying to leave) than I would give the incident more thought as far as character issues go. Anyways, you never put your hands on a female. It happened, he's already been put on probation with out any jail time, and that's the facts. The NFL hasn't called Jurecki and told him how long, that's the facts. The Cards must not see him as some kind of repeat violent offender, because there were other LBs out there during free agency. His suspension last year was for failing a drug test. Which we now know he had to have failed at least one or two more tests before that.

That's why I think Goddell is going to send a message. He was suspended for drugs on April 3rd, and he was arrested for the DV situation on May 3rd.

This I think is indisputable, D Wash is a ********. First if he had kept a condom on it he wouldn't be disputing custody with her therefore the incident in question probably would never had happened. That was his first mistake.

Secondly common sense would tell you if you place your hands on a woman in anger and she gets hurt you are just asking for trouble. That was mistake #2.

I work in the criminal justice field and with both defendants and victims of domestic violence case, and I can say, rarely are there any "victims" in these cases. Normally, both parties played a part in an unheathly relationship. Hopefully, Wash is able to see it as such and find someone to develope a heathly relationship with. Or just bang ho's.

There is a lot of hypocrisy to compare different episodes.
Certainly he did something naive and stupid but there are extenuating,daryl just wanted to see his daughter and his ex was screaming at him and throwing a vase with a plant.

When I posted the NFLPA agreement when he got arrested last summer, once he reaches the spot he is at, there is no difference in any of the violations. Drugs, a criminal case... it's all treated the same.

Interesting? Never heard that before. Where did you pick that up? Everything I've ever read defines it as a racial slur derived from the Latin and then Spanish word for black, Negro, and has been for 100's of years.
