The reason goodell won't send a message to irsay is because goodell works for the owners

:Sigh:

I miss the days on ASFN when we got reports of what occurred on the field at OTA's. . .

:|

Don't complain. I used to have to go to the Austin Public Library to get a 6 day old Arizona Republic to get any news about the Cards at all. Guys would have been cut or signed weeks before we found out about it.

Ah, the good old days. :p

Interesting? Never heard that before. Where did you pick that up? Everything I've ever read defines it as a racial slur derived from the Latin and then Spanish word for black, Negro, and has been for 100's of years.

Nothing supports it except the dictionary definition so consider me wrong.

What dictionary? I didn't find that anywhere. Webster's didn't even have it as meaning anything else in their 1913 dictionary. Maybe the Roman dictionary from 87 AD?

serious? Youve never heard of it meaning ignorant? Or are you up to something else? I just went to dictionary.com because I let you make me doubt myself and line two of the definition had ignorant. It always has. I remember looking it up as a teenager and it was there.

it used to have a straight up line for ignorant, now it doesnt.

Sorry but I went to Websters.com. Merriam-Webster.com. Wiki. (not that I put much faith in them) etc. and got nothing other than it being a racial slur for hundreds of years.

Wow.... SMH

Not even worth debating. Your exactly the type of person that would likely be on the jury making it not even reasonable for D wash to try and fight his case regardless of what the "facts" are....

A reason to arrest someone is not the same as finding them guilty in a court of law.

This is the only way I've known it used. It derived from the word negro & the good ol boys back then couldn't pronounce correctly hence todays word. It was used more as a nickname for the slaves but turned into a derogatory term. I may be wrong but this is the way I understood its beginning.

Here's a pretty good explanation of the word. Btw, I don't even like typing the word.

True... But your side has clearly been chosen based off a he said she said report.... Based off details written by a cop who wasn't there. Go figure.

All because she had marks and broke a bone.

To each their own.

Which has already been stated by me earlier in the thread amounts to nothing but the path of least resistance for DW... Especially considering the guy is more then likely to get the aj BIM and cheesebeefs of te world on his jury. Which means no chance..... Guilty pleas dont mean anything in tons of criminal cases.

Hey cheese, next time you get offended by something that might be anti semetic or over this subject or any of the others you stand up for just remember that you throw around the phrase "going full ******" with no remorse.
I actually thought it was hilarious because of the movie I referenced. You never go full ******, anytime you end up with a case pending, you went full ******. Has nothing to do with midgets, Washington played a poor roll in a bad movie, and now he is going to miss playing in other movies. I don't think Washington is as dirty as some other folks care to express, because he was trying to leave the scene before anything bad happened, but it happend and he is accountable, there for he was listening to his head movies, thus going full ******. If I was Jewish I would be pissed off, stuff gets said every day that aint right, especially after what those people have been through (yes, I just used "those people" in a good way). Cheese can have his own opinion on D-wash, but the whole knock on him for full ****** does not wash, IMO.

Ironically, it wasn't a he said she said report until they could track DWash down because he left the scene before the police arrived - likely to avoid arrest.

No, the police weren't there, but their job is to look at the evidence, hear both sides, and make a determination. In the end they add it all up and try to piece together what is most likely to have happened based on the evidence.

How do you think she got those marks and broke her collarbone?

is this true? this just makes him even more of a piece of crap. If it was just an argument gone wrong, okay. but he does SOMETHING that ends up leaving marks on her neck and a broken collarbone and then flees the scene. That's a piece of crap in my book.
