While all of the March Madness and Mayhem is getting ready to tip off with the men's and women's NCAA Tournament, there are other important college championship tournaments also taking place, and one of them involves an Ohio State team that is the defending national champion with a chance to bring home its third national championship in four years.
The Ohio State women's hockey team is once again in the Frozen Four and will be in action again this weekend taking on another semifinal participant when it takes on No. 3 overall seed Cornell Friday at 5 p.m. inside Ridder Arena in Minneapolis. The victor will face the winner of No. 1 seed Wisconsin and No. 4 seed Minnesota in the final on Sunday.
The bracket isn't that expansive since it's an exclusive, 11-team invitational, and now that the whole thing comes down to four teams, it has really been culled down. However, we like to stay on top of things, so we're bringing you the updated 2025 NCAA Women's Ice Hockey NCAA Championship Tournament bracket just before things get really interesting this weekend.
We'll continue to follow the women as they face off this weekend. Here's to rooting for another championship matchup on Sunday with a shot to hoist another national championship trophy.
