This may not be true in reality but the Cards need to have the mentality of this being a must win game. I hope they are all seething as much as Kyler was during his post-game presser.

Take all the anger & frustration and channel it into an inspired and physical performance on Sunday. Redeem yourself by beating an extremely talented team in Buffalo at home. No excuses. Just win. Nothing else will do. No moral victories. Prove that you are a contender.

Kyler's gotta be as good as he's been the last two games....without a turnover.

He's capable of it though.

FWIW Kennard posted on instagram that he's "this close" to getting his life back with his fingers like an inch apart... Maybe they get cleared to practice soon? we need them in a big way

I believe I heard Kliff say they may clear on Wed. Hoping to have him and Murphy back.

I worry about games like this. Buffalo is just a solid team playing real well right now. They have no problem coming to State Farm and putting a boot to our behind. Coaching is going to be paramount this Sunday.

It should be noted that we will have a lot more film of Allen than we had of Tua (at least at the pro level). Not suggesting we are going to shut down their offense, but we could potentially look a little better against them than we did against Miami. That's even if we are dealing with similar personnel issues.

We can't shoot ourselves in the foot with all these penalties. If we play decent defense and our offense play like they did last week, we will win

Fair point. I'd like to rough him up a little even if we don't sack him per se. If he has time it's going to get ugly with Diggs and Smoke. My goodness, I shudder to think if Murph, and Dre aren't back.

I think this is a really bad matchup for us.

Their WR's are smaller, speedy, shifty guys. Something we don't handle very well.

Allen can run, something else we don't handle well due to to a tendency for both ILB's to drop too far into zone coverage.

They play a zone defense that Kyler has struggled with.

I don't fancy us in this one.

Which pretty much tells me we’re going to win this one considering most of everyone’s predictions have been the opposite of what happened.

The only zone team Kyler struggled with was Carolina and thats mostly due to the over correct on Kliffs part.

Kyler is going to rip the Bills apart.

I am not worried about him and the offense.

I am worried about Kliff throwing another game away with bat late game play calling and the Vance Joseph Special.

The Bills defense is not what it was. The Dolphins defense is better and outside of the fumble, Kyler was too much for them.

If Gonzalez makes that kick and cardinals pull out a victory last week --- this Bills / Cards matchup is the game of the week. Kingsbury is in the running for coach of the year at midpoint, and Kyler is a bonafide candidate for MVP.

Crazy how it can all change so quickly for the better or worse.

Injured Reserve for a concussion? I mean.... thanks???
Does IR this year necessarily mean he has to be out the rest of the season though? It would have to be a major concussion for him to have to be out for more than a week or two.

It doesn't. They added an IR designation that allows them to return.

This may be the healthiest this team has been since week one. I would really like Rashard Lawrence and Jordan Philips to be a nice starter/bckup combo like they were early season.

Here is the thing with Buffalo, they looked like crap against the jets and almost got beat.

Any given Sunday anything can happen.

Yep. And with relatively new QBs (on both sides) it is possible for one or both to have that 'any given Sunday' performance.

Well, I have to admit they looked awesome last week against Seattle. They seem like a team that gets up for big games. Don't know if they will consider a game with us a big game though.

I feel about 50/50 on this game.

I think this is a game where we need to play a combination of having our larger corners jam smoke and diggs at the line (otherwise what good is their size advantage) and drop into zone with deep safeties. This would be a game where having a speedy, rangy ILB (like Simmons) playing well would make a tremendous difference. If they could take away the middle of the field and also spy Allen it would make a tremendous difference If Simmons were up to speed this would be a game where hicks wouldn’t see much time imo. But that’s not happening.
