There's a lot of negative Bills stuff here. I'll put it this way.

I think the Bills are better than Miami in pretty much every department. Both trenches, linebackers, secondary, WR, QB, RB. All of them.

They’re legitimately worse in the trenches(DLine), linebackers, & secondary. Are you basing this off their 2019 team?

Their offense has taken a huge step forward while their defense taken a huge step back.

Buffalo isn’t a world beater at all on defense.

Edmonds hasn’t made that leap yet & has remained stagnant. Milano won’t play & his replacement in Klein has been horrific.

Tre White is very good, but he hasn’t been the DPOY candidate he was last year. Norman been washed & Levi Wallace is meh.

Probably the smallest group of DL the offense will go against this year. They can & have been taken advantage of in the run game.

Poyer & Hyde a real good safety duo. Nothing much to say there.

This a great game to have Drake back because unlike Miami, they can be owned on those inside runs.

Actually, SK did take KM over both LJ and JA. We passed on LJ when we took Rosen, passed on JA when we took KM. Now, those decisions will be something to chew on as the careers of the three play out.

***Correction*** Thank you cardncubfan for calling out my mistake. We passed on LJ when we took Rosen. JA was already off the board before we picked Rosen. KM came to us in the next draft.

What's interesting is that, and I don't know if it's true, but the rumors I've heard in the Bills world for years is that we were fighting off another team trying to get at Allen, and the team was...you guys.

I think both franchises are pretty happy with how it turned out, relative to the Jets w/ Darnold, and whoever has Rosen now lol

Will be interesting if Hyde plays

So who's playing iDL then?

Philips is out. Fotu is out. Lawrence and Allen are still on IR.

That leaves Peters. Blackson. Mauro. With Coley and Dogbe to come up from the PS.

Yuk.

Justin Murray also out.

Bills at Cardinals

The Bills ruled out RB Taiwan Jones (hamstring) and LB Del'Shawn Phillips (quadricep). T Cody Ford (ankle) and S Micah Hyde (ankle) are listed as questionable.

S Budda Baker (groin) is listed as questionable for the Cardinals, but is expected to play. RB Kenyan Drake (ankle), CB Dre Kirkpatrick (thigh), S Deionte Thompson (knee), and TE Maxx Williams (ankle) join him in the questionable category. DT Leki Fotu (ankle), G Justin Murray (hand), and DT Jordan Phillips (hamstring) are all out this week.

Budda Baker questionable but is expected to play

News that Budda Baker had returned to practice Friday served as a good sign regarding his availability for Sunday’s game.

The Cardinals list Baker as questionable with a groin injury.

Coach Kliff Kingsbury said he likes Baker’s chances to play, but the team wants to see how he does in a pregame workout just to be sure.

If Baker does play, the Cardinals will have their full secondary on the field. Baker, Patrick Peterson, Jalen Thompson, Byron Murphy Jr. and Dre Kirkpatrick have played together for only two snaps this season.

The Cardinals also list running back Kenyan Drake (ankle), Kirkpatrick (thigh), safety Deionte Thompson (knee) and tight end Maxx Williams (ankle) as questionable.

They ruled out defensive lineman Leki Fotu (ankle), offensive lineman Justin Murray (hand) and defensive lineman Jordan Phillips (hamstring).

Drake practiced each day this week in a limited capacity, but it’s uncertain whether he will play. He missed last week’s game after injuring his ankle against the Seahawks in Week 7.

“We want to make sure he feels good pregame and can do what he does best,” Kingsbury said, via Kyle Odegard of the team website. “If not, he won’t go.”

I can't speak for what was going on inside Card's Management---but on this board there was plenty of debate regarding QB's and JA was often mentioned. I advocated for the Cards going after a vet FA QB.

I think fans here were not as gung-ho about JA because he reminded too many of us of a failed QB experiment with Derek Anderson---big arm, very inaccurate while he was with us. Tape on JA looked too much like what we saw from Derek Anderson.

Let's see if my opinion squares with other Card fans???

Levi Wallace is Norman's backup too so leaves them only with Siran Neal.

They called up Daryl Worley from the practice squad but he's been gashed at Dallas all season.

Micah Hyde questionable as well. Bills secondary might be no better than what we fielded last week if he sits out as well.

I'd rather see our best vs their best. The 'normal' injuries are part of the game and I accept those subtractions from a roster---that's where the GM/coaches have to assemble a roster of good players and their replacements.

I don't like one team getting decimated with several starters out due to Covid-19. Looks like 'community spread' with all the affected from the defensive backfield.

At what point is the game called?

Would the league institute an option for the 'well' team to sit the equivalent starters to those out on the 'sick' team. If they lose their #1 Corner, we sit our #1 Corner.

How much at risk will the Card players be with a team showing up with this many starters out? I'd rather call the game than see our roster exposed and we end up playing with our backups.

They only lost 1 starter.

Okay, one starter and the back-up players. Same point to make. How are those back-ups used on special teams, how do they rotate in, how are they used in special packages. They are not at full strength based on the virus.

Edit ---Added content

Josh Norman is the ‘name’ player on the Covid-19 list. He’s only played in 3 games. Signed in March but was on IR with a hamstring

Levi Wallace

Dean Marlowe

Bottom line: Bills will be without some key guys.
