Bring on the Packers!

In almost EVERY playoff scerenio, We end up playing the packers in the first round at UofP Stadium....

Even if Philly loses to the Cowboys and he cowboys take the NFC East, we would have the tie breaker and finish #3, but Phlly has the Tiw Breaker over GB and thus we would still face GB in the 3/6 match-up...

So we have three weeks and a game to play against them before the real dance... time to scout now, time to figure there weakness... It really sucks that we drew them in the first round, but they do have their flaws..

Feel free to do an unofficial scouting report and thoughts... the countdown start NOW..

Bring on the Pack!!

Not so fast. If we catch the Vikings we have the tie-breaker against them.

god I hope we get the pack. A team missing its 2 bes defensive players in our house. You cant ask for more than that. If we lose we definately deserve it. Atlanta in the first round last years scared me more than the pack this year.

Rodgers, Grant, Driver, Jennings, Jones, Finley scare me a lot more than rookie Ryan, Turner, White

Plus Green Bay's D is better than what Atlanta's was.

In order for us to catch the Vikings, they would need to lose to the Bears this week...

not saying it is impossible, but come on... The bears since their 3-1 start are 2-8.... Their two wins are against the Browns and Lions...

I would LOOOOVE to see an upset, I would also LOOOVE a date with Mila Kunis... Prolly not gonna happend.. unfortunantly ;)

If GB wins tomorrow, it just about seals our fate with them in two weeks...

I have rooted for the Seahawks once before this year (against the 49ers) and it worked out... here is to one more time Seahags, please upset the pack so you get a worse draft pick, and we can avoid them...

The first event is infinitely more probable than the 2nd one.

So far today, things have pretty much held serve for the Cardinals and their seeding...

With the Eagles winning this afternoon, and the Packers winning coupled with a Giants loss, there is only one scernio inwhich we won't face GB for the 2nd time in as many weeks..

The only way now that we won't face the Packers is if:

1. Dallas wins tonight AND against the Eagles next week
2. We lose to the packers

In this case we would earn the #4 seed and host The Eagles in the first round...

I am not a fan of facing the Packers in the 1st round, but the Eagles?? HELLLLLLL no...

If Dallas loses tonight, and loses to the Eagles the Giants would be the #6 seed, we would face GB regardless...

Should be fun, I am officially a Washington and Philli fan these next two weeks...

The reality is we'll either play Philly with 5 wins in a row(not counting next week of course) or we'll play the Pack who have won 4 of their last 5.

So whoever we play they're going to be a "hot" team.

It's odd to me to my viewing eye Green Bay is the better defense and Philly the better offense yet Green Bay has scored more points and Philly has allowed less.

I wonder what scenario it would take for us to play Dallas?

Your eyes and the stats (through 14 games at least) are actually in agreement :)

The Packers allow 20.0 pts per game, the Eagles 20.4 pts per game.

The Eagles score 28.5 pts per game, the Packers 27.1 pts per game.

Plus,I dont get where he is saying the Packer two best defensive players? Thats not true. Charles Woodson and Clay Matthews have been our two best defensive players this year. Sure, losing Al Harris hurts but his back up is as just as good as he was(Tramon Williams) ,it's when you get to our nickel back is where the producation drops off(Jarret Bush) and our Linebackers have been better with Kampman out. He isn't a great fit for OLB in the 3-4.

now only two options are left
either seed #2 that requires Min tolose both games
or we'll play GB doesn't matter whether we're seed #3 or #4

Is there any scenario where we can still capture the #2 seed? Wouldn't the loser of the Dallas-Philly game (Dallas is winning handily) have a tie-breaker over us, assuming we beat the Pack?

With the Vikings Loss yesterday, it puts an interesting spin on this weekends games...

If the Giants manage to beat the Vikings on Sunday, it will be BEST CASE for the Cards!

Because (assuming the Cards take care of business), if the Eagles win, then the Caridnals will actually host the Cowboys in the first round (The Cards would be the #3 seed and Cowboys the #6)

And ofcourse if the Cowboys in the Cards would be the #2 seed with a bye...

CRAZY...

LETS GO GIANTS!
