Ok, so let me start by saying that the odds mean nothing, we have to do it on the field, HOWEVER, with 1 good win under our belt vs ATL and the upcoming schedule looking like this...

HOU (2-5) - They just named Keenum as their starter, this team is in a free fall

@jax (0-8) - 'nuf said

IND (5-2) - Well what can I say, at least we get them at home

@phi (3-5) - Matt Barkley????

STL (3-4) - Sam Bradford done for the year, they just called Brett Favre c'mon.

@ten (3-4) - CJ1k on pace for a whopping 836 yards this season with a 3.2ypc

overall opponents record for this 6 game stretch is 16-28 win pct .363

We'll be facing plenty of backup QB's in this stretch that have no business in the NFL. To name a few Case Keenum, Chad Henne, Matt Barkley & Kellen Clemons.

I know I'm getting ahead of myself here, but if we can win the 5 that we'll be favored in we'll find ourselves sitting at 9-5

Then we get SEA and SF in full-on rest-the-starters mode. 11-5!!!!

We will not be favored against Indy or on the road at Philly. Where unless another injury occurs Barkley won't be starting.

another thing that just popped out at me about this stretch is that we don't have any back to back road games, that always helps.

I can't help but think what a great spot we'd be sitting in if we didn't blow that STL game in Week 1

There's a report out today that Vick felt something pop.

Foles has concussion issues although that might be gone by the time we play them.

Philly is coming off a BYE to play us. They'll have plenty of time to get healthy and game plan.

Sure but if Vick really felt something pop in his hamstring it's unlikely he'll be healthy by then. 5 weeks or not guys his age don't recover from popped hamstrings that quickly.

Foles will likely be playing by then of course.

Still won't be surprised if we win that game. Philly is not playing well right now.

We've had their number with lesser teams lately. I hope we can keep a good thing going.

That's why i said barring another injury. That's 5 weeks away Foles should be recovered by then.

Wouldn't be surprised with a win. Would be if were favored though like OP is claiming.

Even if we end at 9-7 there's a strong chance that we miss the playoffs due to tie breakers. But, considering the improvement from last year where we weren't even in the realm of competitive to this year where we may be talking playoffs in week 17 there's reason to be excited.

Not to mention that we'll be getting several players back next year that we were without this entire season.

K.Minter (not out the season, but partially)

We own tiebreakers over the Lions and Panthers, don't we?

From NFL.com

TO BREAK A TIE FOR THE WILD-CARD TEAM

If it is necessary to break ties to determine the two Wild-Card clubs from each conference, the following steps will be taken.
1.If the tied clubs are from the same division, apply division tie breaker.
2.If the tied clubs are from different divisions, apply the following steps.

Two Clubs
1.Head-to-head, if applicable.
2.Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
3.Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.
4.Strength of victory.
5.Strength of schedule.
6.Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
7.Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
8.Best net points in conference games.
9.Best net points in all games.
10.Best net touchdowns in all games.
11.Coin toss.

Three or More Clubs

(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.)
1.Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. The original seeding within a division upon application of the division tie breaker remains the same for all subsequent applications of the procedure that are necessary to identify the two Wild-Card participants.
2.Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.)
3.Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
4.Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.
5.Strength of victory.
6.Strength of schedule.
7.Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
8.Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
9.Best net points in conference games.
10.Best net points in all games.
11.Best net touchdowns in all games.
12.Coin toss

When the first Wild-Card team has been identified, the procedure is repeated to name the second Wild-Card, i.e., eliminate all but the highest-ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. In situations where three or more teams from the same division are involved in the procedure, the original seeding of the teams remains the same for subsequent applications of the tie breaker if the top-ranked team in that division qualifies for a Wild-Card berth.

Good point on the tie breakers. I wasn't referring to any specific team of tie breaker just that every year there are a few 9-7 teams that are on the outside looking in

You're kidding right bro? Foles is out and Mike Vick sucks, they have a garbage defense and just lost to the 1-6 Giants.

Even if Foles is back I trust our D vs a young QB and most importantly our O vs their horrendous D.

Far from kidding. On the road east coast am game and we dnt get any respect as it is. As it stands now only one game better in the standings You know Foles will be out 5 weeks from now? Interesting.

If you want to think we will be favored more power to you.

I like your optimism, but if both the Hawks and the Niners keep winning they will be fighting for the #1 or #2 seed and will probably prefer that to resting starters.

What the line will be is debatable, but no matter what it is, it doesn't mean anything. Instead of titling this thread "favored" which imply s betting odds, I should've titled it something to imply 5 of 6 games against weaker opponents.

No matter what vegas says the line is in Philly, I like our chances against a REALLY bad D even if Foles is taking snaps on O
