Location, Location, Location.

Lower back herniations that affect the bundle of nerves controlling the pelvis area and back of legs are very serious. If the herniation is in another location, then steroid shots can reduce the pain and speed up the recovery. It sounds like he is not having any radiating pain from his back, so that's encouraging. Playing with a herniated disc is dangerous because the imperfection will allow more disc material to "spill out" and wreak havoc.

Nash has learned the importance of core training and Lopez better get with the program if he wants to manage these back issues going forward.

Funny, at the beginning of the season everyone was talking about what a wasted pick Lopez was. Now he's the key to our off season! This guy made HUGE strides this season. Last year he was breaking doors and throwing fits and looked like he might wash out. Now I hope he's going to be OK.

yup... this really blows. this team has been lights out. I was really starting to look forward to the playoffs, a possible #2 or #3 seed. Now, as currently constructed, I cringe at how many time we're gonna blow 20 leads in the playoffs, leading to more heartnreak.

Touche'. This guy has proven me wrong. He still has A LOT to prove on the offensive end, but what he is giving us now is a defensive presence and offensive rebounding which this team sorely needed.
