I had to drive into work yesterday, so since I had my truck, I picked up Erin and we decided to go to Los Dos Molinos, to see what the fuss was all about. D-Dogg has been raving about this place for years, so I knew it had to be good. A quick 35 minute drive to the barrio and we were there.

Closed on Sundays and Mondays. D'oh! We ended up going to Oregano's after a full hour of driving to and from the closed restaurant. We are going to try again soon.

Yep....I'm a wuss. Good times, though. You should have seen me the time I got the TINIEST fragment of jalapeno in some guacamole I was eating...I seriously thought I would have to have my tongue amputated.

That happened to me at the LDM in Manhattan, cept we took the A train from Bed Stuy to Fulton, transferred to the 4/5/6 to Unon Square, waled the 4 blocks up and 1 crosstown. I hate that. Who the hell closes on Sundays AND mondays? Its a friggin restaurant for the love of god!

Went there last night. The service was a little slow, but the food and atmosphere were very good. Definitely spicey, but nothing a cold Corona couldn't fix. :)

What did you eat? I think Erin and I are making a second attempt tomorrow (Tuesday) night.

I want it to be known that I TRIED the salsa--both the green & the red. Both were ungodly hot. :)

I had the chicken chimichanga (no sauce :) ), no rice, just beans. It was very good.

I had the red chili enchiladas with chicken - very good.

Rob had the Pork stew - he liked it as well.
