BATON ROUGE — The start of LSU baseball's midweek contest against Northwestern State has been delayed due to inclement weather.

Originally scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m., first pitch for the Tigers (34-7) and Demons (24-17) has been pushed to 7:02 p.m. at Alex Box Stadium, LSU baseball announced a short while ago.

The game can still be seen on SEC Network+.

Sophomore right-hander Jaden Noot is set to start for No. 7 LSU. It'll be his third start on the season and he's 2-0 on the year with a 3.94 ERA. Northwestern State will throw Kevin Robinson, who is 6-1 on the season with a 3.94 ERA.

LSU has not lost a midweek game this season, currently sitting at 11-0. Jay Johnson's club won the series against No. 17 Alabama at home this past weekend. Northwestern State took a series over Lamar last weekend.
