Tank next year. 0-16 here we come.

Really, I think it is a poor decision on the young man's part. Too many things can happen in a year, especially with a new coach.

Not sure why anyone here is excited about it - all it does is take another player off the draft board and remove a player from a position of need.

Unless you think the cards will be picking #1 overall in the next draft or that for some reason his stock will drop or he will be surpassed.

What? That means Newton will probably be long gone now. It means we will get another Skelton in the draft, that's all that's left after Luck/Newton.:bang:

No way!

Yup. One other option though. It could be that he does not want to play behind that Carolina offensive offensive (double on purpose) line.

If another team could deal for the top pick, he might reconsider.

Kind of a John Elway/Eli Manning type thing.

Well his stock certainly can't go up. I don't think him staying affects the Cards draft plan whatsoever, unless they were going to try and move up, which was doubtful. I don't think the Cards were going to take a QB, other than Luck in round 1 anyway and that's probably a good thing.

I fully believe this could change as soon as Harbaugh accepts a job elsewhere??? Anyone else?

Seriously bad move. Yes, it may still work out for him, but there's only two ways this can go: it stays the same, or it gets worse. There is no getting better.
