I'll unstick this tomorrow but you guys have got to listen to this yourselves then answer this question:

Was Rod Graves using the media to plant the nonsense that the Cards would not draft a QB in round 1? Or was he telling the truth?

He didn't say that. He said it was "highly unlikely" the Cards would draft a QB at #6.

This isn't to say he wouldn't draft Leftwich if he inexibly fell to #9 or #10 and the Cards had traded down to there.

Wow...that is a treasure trove of information. Even though they don't spew specific plans, they do say what they like about specific guys.

It may be tough to pass on Leftwich.

Trufant is getting lots of pub on this forum.....passing on Leftwich to get Trufant may come back to haunt us.

Rod actually started by looking at Mac, and saying "I believe we can put this one to rest." My read is they have no intention of drafting a first round QB, period.

He also said he had a problem paying someone a $12 million signing bonus who had already broken the same leg twice.

It didn't sound like smoke to me.
