I will say it again. I won't be shocked to see Moore at RB.

I'd bet everything I own they don't move a guy that can't hold up at WR to the most physically bruising position in the league.

Here's the thing. So far, he hasn't been able to hold up against air. Putting in a 3rd down role as a RB at least gets him on the field in some capacity. He is the 3rd best under 5'10 WR on a roster where the GM keeps signing guys over 6'0 and the OC allegedly wants to run more two TE sets.

You really think Cards aren't using new Uni's yet for some financial reason? You think they did a big Uni reveal that cost more than jerseys for the team and their now trying to save on budget?

Do we know if it's normal for teams to wear new uniforms in camp or wait until the season starts? Could there possibly be some other completely reasonable reason why they aren't wearing them yet?

If it's attention to detail, if it's clearing old inventory, whatever. You just promoted new unis as the most positive thing that will happen this season (probably), and all of the features of your team are them wearing the old unis that everyone hated or thought were tired.

I don't really care what other teams do. This was an opportunity to spend a relative pittance and have your team look good. They ran out Thompson, Collins, et al to talk about how sick the new unis look and then handed them the ones that are headed to the trash anyway.

Yeah, or they could've kitted them out in just whatever "Arizona Cardinals Football Club" merch Nike wants to provide.

I get the idea that they want the first time they'll wear the new unis to be in a meaningless preseason game against the Denver Broncos featuring David Blough starting against Jarrett Stidham -- why would you pass on that opportunity???? -- but it would be pretty dispiriting to the players to walk into the locker room and find the bad uniforms waiting for them.

Just not what a first-class operation would do. More of a Washington Commanders idea.

Sidebar: Denver has two QBs named "Jarrett" on the roster behind DangeRuss. The rookie Jarrett (Guarantano) is 15 months younger than the four-year veteran.
