Denver had a top 12 defense. And out of those 12 they had the highest scoring D out of the 12.. They have 2 of the best pass rushers in teh NFL. Would hardly call them mediocre. Should only get better too.

While I agree overall they were pretty good, teams started catching up with that Defense as the season wore on. With the exception of a Cutlerless Bears offense, and a toothless Kansas City offense, I count 3 40 pointers, one 30, and one 23 (to the hobbling Rothlisberger lead steelers) in the last 7.
