Well, I sure hope they are the same person. Plagiarism would be a no-no on the Internet as well.

I thought they were looking at possibly moving Artest because of his abysmal shooting in the playoffs. I believe he averaged something like 30% from the field.

Barbosa's not going anywhere.

Artest is an overrated defender.

Pacers better come up with something better than that.

BTW, nice find ryan. Makes you wonder how all these internet trades get started.

I don't like this trade either, but Artest is not an overrated defender. I think he is the best overall defender in the NBA who is not a big man.

It was 38%, but you're right, that's lower than I would have guessed. He seemed to hit a lot of shots while I was watching.

Does anyone know what happened to Pollard last season. His season stats fell off the chart and in the playoffs he played for only 13 minutes in three games out of a possible 16.

In 2001-02 he grabbed 7.1 rpg in 23.5 minutes. His minutes dropped in 2002-03, but his 4.6 rpg was better per minute than before. But with the Pacers he played only 11.1 minutes per game and appeared in only 61 games where he grabbed only 2.7 rpg.

The remaining two years of his salary is only a little bit less than for Eisley. I'd push for a deal if I had a theory about what happened last season.

Nagging injuries, mostly. Then, when he was healthy, they just wouldn't let him off of the bench.

Artest is too much of a baby to ever win a championship. We don't need him here.

This would be a great trade for Pacer fans. We get their garbage, and they get our youth. This would set the Suns back another couple of years.
