If you could comment on the frontpage a bit, that would be helpful
I’m not sure what you mean by, “Sadly, the trade also works as a straight up deal so the reality of it sets in.” The salary numbers work, but that’s the only way that the trade makes sense straight-up. The Suns would have to get additional compensation, at least Milsap or a pick. Kirilenko’s contract is bad and he can’t stay healthy.
That deal would be a monster coup for the Suns.
If there's any truth in this rumor, Kerr should better ask for more than only Kirilenko, since his contract is way longer than Marion's (saves Sarver more than $5M next year though).
From a basketball standpoint, that definitively makes sense as long as we stick him inside next to Amare (and not as a SF). In our system, he could average 16pts/10rbds/5asts/3blks/2stls if he stays reasonably healthy.
On a side note, he's doing pretty well in the Euro championships and I found him committed and aggressive during the Russia games I've seen.

Gimme some o' dat kool aid
Marion, Banks, Piatkowski for Kirilenko, Millsap, Giricek?
but look at Utah's lineup after this.... Okur/Boozer/Marion/Giricek/Willams.
Hate to break it but that team is scary, especially if Suns ever meet them come playoff time, Marion would have a chip against us.
