QBs who need to work out at NFL Combine;

1. Bridgewater
2. Mannion
3. Mettenberger
4. Boyd
5. Manziel
6. McCarron
7. Morris

QBs who probably won't;

1. Bridgewater
2. Manziel

You better still be posting when the combine comes around. Hopefully Bridgewater does go to the combine (but I agree he probably won't) the debates will be epic. EPIC I tells ya.

But, I am very impressed with Mariota's skills.
Two different breeds of cat (at least from what I've seen so far).

Mariota's quick-twitch athleticism and decision-making can be breath-taking.

Everything on the field seems to slow down for Teddy at crunch time.

What I'll be watching for more and more as the college season wraps up is: "Which college QB's have the physical and mental skill-sets necessary to take a pro team to the play-offs?" Whether there are enough of those guys on the list to make it where we pick should determine whether or not we take a QB or opt for a primo LT &/or BPA. What could turn out to be a fascinating decision would be if there was an elite QB and elite LT available when we pick - which way do we go? (My instincts say: "QB" - because of his importance to team success).

At least last night, smashmouth beat quickness (It doesn't always work out that way but it did yesterday and for the second straight year between 2 such teams).

Mariota was definitely not impressive last night, but that was a team loss. Oregon receivers were not getting open and there were no running lanes for Mariota.

Surprisingly it looks like Hundley is going to turn pro after this season. He could be a guy that is available when we pick, due to some holes in his game, but has the physical tools to work in the Arians system.

I'm glad the dad denied it because it is against everything Hundley has been telling UCLA. They have a freshman QB on the roster now who they've been talking about moving to another position depending on Hundley and if he was telling them I'm staying, while planning to leave, I'd be pretty disappointed in him.

he's just not that good, good to very good college QB but has huge holes in his game NFL wise.

I agree with JeffGollin on judging players by colledge attended , (examples here in Mississippi) . Walter Payton --- Jackson St. ---------- Jerry Rice --- Miss. Valley St. -------------- Brett Favre --- Southern Miss.

Rogers was just a victim of having come along behind Kyle Boller , the way Boller busted , it couldn't help but raise some eyebrows on Rogers .

Kind of true but Boller only had a short time with Tedford and was a classic case of a touted prospect whose early career had been botched and then had a big last year with some good coaching. he was a tremendous specimen, but he'd only played good football for one year really.

Rodgers was a late bloomer, got taller and stronger in JC, and had 2 brilliant years at Cal. I didn't think he'd be THIS good, but I knew he was an NFL starter the first time I saw him play. But by then people had this perception of Tedford QB's because of the ones at Fresno State and then Boller so they were hesitant on Rodgers.

I to this day can't believe SF picked Smith over him and Smith has evolved into a reasonably good NFL QB. But it was so obvious to me that Rodgers was a better QB.

One of the few times I've been right
