This kid was a scoring machine in school very very odd story.

Yeah Ainge is just killing it in Boston

On what grounds did David stern (or Adam silver?) nix a trade between some team (the clippers?) and another team (Lakers?) but let the Boston - Nets trade go through?

I feel like a team should be able to do whatever it wants but for the benefit of the nets, their fans and the owners even, surely they might have had something to say about this one also considering how badly the nets gambled, and lost, their future on it.

What really made it a terrible trade is the Nets giving the Celts "pick swap" options in alternating years (while outright giving their picks away in between) to beat the "can't trade picks in back to back seasons" rule, specifically made to prevent teams from their own stupidity, some Cavs owner traded 5 straight years of picks in the 80s.

Back on the topic of Fultz... the Sixers are saying he is healed, right? So, either this new, awful, form is a way to prevent re-injury or their doctors screwed the pooch.

When Stern nixed the Chris Paul/New Orleans to the Lakers trade he had the right to not only as commissioner but the league owned the New Orleans Hornets at the time. That was a bad trade for the Hornets, giving them nothing for the future. When the Nets made the trade the league didn't own them and had it worked I don't think the Nets would be upset over it now, had they won a title or at least made it to the finals with KG and Pierce. If KG and Pierce were 3-4 years younger it would have been a fair trade but they were past their prime at that time. The Stepian rule is in place already so teams can't trade back to back picks, which the Nets abided by.

Another reason I think it looks so lopsided is how good the Celtics are now, which the Suns helped kickstart. They were a rebuilding team before they got IT who propelled them into the playoffs and they improved annually with him on their team. Now they're title contenders in the East and have a stockpile of assets from a trade made years before hand, if they were lottery bound themselves I doubt people would be as envious of that Nets trade.
