There has been some discussion of a rule accommodation/adjustment for the Marlins since they have 17 players out with Covid 19 off their 40 man roster, and only 23 Covid free players remaining while needing to fill out a 30-man active roster. Numbers working against them.

The Miami #Marlins players, with 19 positive tests, have now been informed they will be paid just like everyone else if they are unable to play 60 games this season, barring a league-wide shutdown.
