Marmie named defensive coordinator

Marmie's defense gave up the most points in the NFL last year. In one game they gave up 50 friggin' points!

It is never just one guy's fault, but the leader of the defense has to have some culpability.

Actually that is 1-2. However, if you include the rams 49-37 victory in the 99-00 playoffs they are .500 against Dennis Green and 2-0 with Martz as an OC or HC.

Having said that, I agree with the original sentiment of this thread. Not a great hire for the rams. Mind you Lovie Smith wasn't exactly a master DC.
