Thoughts on Free Agency
"You really don't know what to expect. It's kind of like being in college all over again trying to figure out where you are going to go. I've enjoyed my stay. I've like what I've seen here and I'm just kind of seeing what presents itself to me and just kind of going with the flow right now."
Direction of the Bills
"I think it's headed into a very positive direction. Just sitting there talking to coach (Gregg) Williams you just feel the energy and the vibe off him and see exactly where he wants it to go. Then just seeing the facility and meeting all the people and coaches and things and everybody had the same vibe and the same direction and that's to go to the Super Bowl
2002 Shoulder Injury
"Right now I'm 100 percent healthy. My shoulder blade is 100 percent and I've been working out and everything has been going good. I'm 100 percent right now."
Fitting into Buffalo's Plans
"It's been kind of open. Just asking questions, answering questions. Just getting to talk to Kevin (Gilbride). Just getting the feel of the offense with what I've done in the past and what they do here now. Talking with the coach he was just pretty much giving me his philosophy on the direction he was going. We talked about both being a receiver and defiantly being on kickoff returns.
I can do both. I've done both throughout my career. Special teams is defiantly what made me. I made a name for myself out there. I've progressed as a receiver the last couple of years. It's kind of a bonus for me that I can do both. Plus gunner, kickoff and all those other added special teams they would want me to do so I would hope that would be an added incentive."
Playing with Drew Bledsoe
"He can air it out. One thing I know Bledsoe can really do is distributing the ball around. You have two 1,000-yard receivers; the fourth receiver with 47 catches, the running back, the tight ends getting the ball. That's real attractive because when you have a quarterback that distributes the ball you're going to get the ball in your hands to make something happen.
If it comes down to it, I definitely see myself competing for the second receiver slot. If I do end up coming here I'm \definitely going to give 110 percent and just do what I can to make that happen."
Demand on Returning Kickoffs
"It's brutal. You want to take about two months off when you only score once and you get tackled a lot. You have to have a certain mentality to even do kickoffs. When you have 11 guys running at you full speed on opposite ends of the field you've got to have a lot of trust in the return game and you have to have a lot of trust in your blockers. You just have to be fearless out there because you really can't be timid running the ball on kickoff return."
Future Visits
"I think maybe going to Jacksonville. I talked to my agent last night and maybe Chicago and Carolina. There's nothing set in stone.
