Nice start Haley.

Cards would never do anything this pro active.

Wow... too much IMO, but some team rumored to think of Cassel as a top 5 QB in the league!! I watched a lot of KC games and thought Thigpen had promise

Nice start PIOLI...

Maybe... if we had Thigpen as our next season starter, and were a zillion dollars under the cap, like KC, we would.

Haley could have had Leinart for a second rounder, according to Urban.

Really, NFLN just said it might be KC's second and picks next year?

Other reports believe that the Cassel trade is part of the Vrabel deal. Nothing has been officially announced by the clubs, but there will be picks included in the Vrabel/Cassel deal.

Patriots continue to get richer. I'm not surprised one iota that the Patriots were able to move Cassel but it does surprise me that Pioli would put this much stock in a very unproven QB when they have a very promising QB in Thigpen. Cassel put up 23 TD's in 16 games(15 starts) on a very potent offensive juggernaut. Thigpen(coming into the season as the #3 behind Croyle and Huard) put up 22 TD's in 14 games(11 starts) for a freakin' Herm Edwards offense!

Stupid, stupid move by the Chiefs. If I was Thigpen I'd be demanding a trade and some team will be lucky to have him.
