I'll take the win but how in the world was that Dallas ball there at the end?

Crazy ass game, a win is a win. Just shows how this league gives and gives to the stars of the league.

I don't think Dudley's foot was down when he threw it off Carter. I watched closely on the replay. Then there was the block on Dudley's shot where the Mavericks got possession.

Nice win.

Hate the Mavs, but they have a lot of players I used to root for back in the day. Matrix, Kidd, Carter (Suns) and Terry (UofA).

Is there someone else's lesser brother we can draft this year?

We can trade for Brook Lopez or sign him as a RFA. I think someone was also mentioning Zeller.

I agree about Dudley, he was still in the air. On the Dudley shot, it clearly was either a foul or a block and there was just no excuse for the refs to miss that. Also, as I mentioned earlier, right afterward Gortat makes the basket and instead of a three point play the ref calls a bogus offensive foul. The foul had already occurred by Dirk well before Gortat's wild arm draws contact. Just a horribly biased job by the refs to close out that game.

it was hard to see, but he knocked the ball out before he even threw it off of carter. great win for the suns. they held off the dirk mavs. he is the only player on their team that can score in the 4th quarter of games. valiant effort on his part unfortunately nothing to show for it but some sore balls.

The ball went off of Dudley's hand and hits the out of bounds line on the rebound before he jumped & threw it off of Carter.

I don't know about the gortat foul, but he fouled dirk and that wasn't bogus... the ref probably just missed the call if dirk fouled him first. dudley knocked the ball out before he jumped to save the ball. it was clear on the replay.

Nice game, scoreboard was clear at the end too. :D When we play playoff teams at home I get spyched, Dattas holds the belt so I be rooting hard when that kinda talent comes to our wood. Longtime no talk, but I be evesdropping, stay up homie.

I watched the Gortat play several times and Dirk hits him with body before Gortat's arm connects. I was still rewinding that one and the missed call on the Dudley shot so I hadn't taken the time to re-watch that last play until just now. You guys are correct, Dudley definitely touches the ball on its way out of bounds. Also, it looked like Frye should have been called for a push in the back on Carter on that same play.

yep that's what i saw. it went off carter then dudley and it was out...the ball hit the floor out of bounds of dudley. then he jumped to save it. it was already out at that point. it was hard to see until the replay.

that might be true abotu gortat's layup. a lot of times they don't wave off that basket. he had inside position, but on the replay his arm came down on dirk's face before the shot went in so that is a 50/50 call. the refs don't have the opportunity to do a replay. it was fast. I didn't see a foul on either guy until they showed a replay. tough call to make in fast motion. either way the suns won fair and square. dallas has some scoring issues right now with terry basically AWOL since dirk has returned to form over the last month or so. they have problems when you consider terry has been riding the bench late in the 4th for a few games of late.

Actually both of those calls were correct, TiVo confirmed. Dudley's air ball really was just an air ball, and on the out of bounds play, Dudley tipped it before it first bounced on the baseline.

I just wish that when you went back on the tivo that roddy B would have passed the ball to dirk on that first sequence before the out of bounce review(then maybe we would be watching OT right now). you knew with 2.5 seconds left they wern't going to let dirk get the ball. roddy had a wide open look though(with the double on dirk) and he was way off. that's a shot terry normally knocks down but he's sick with whatever odom's got.

Yeah, I was wrong on that one too. Carter gets him on the follow through and that is sometimes called a foul but the ball was already out of his hands before the contact.

I'm tired of it because it's so repetitive.

Suns down 53-44 at the half. It would probably be a good idea if Nash started shooting (only 2 shots in the 1st half).

Nash must have heard you.
