I don't think Dudley's foot was down when he threw it off Carter. I watched closely on the replay.

I think Dudley stepped on the line when he jumped to make the play. You have to jump from in bounds.

it was hard to see, but he knocked the ball out before he even threw it off of carter. great win for the suns. they held off the dirk mavs. he is the only player on their team that can score in the 4th quarter of games. valiant effort on his part unfortunately nothing to show for it but some sore balls.

Oh, yeah, you're right. That's what it was. Dudley touched the ball and it came down on the line.

Actually both of those calls were correct, TiVo confirmed. Dudley's air ball really was just an air ball, and on the out of bounds play, Dudley tipped it before it first bounced on the baseline.

It's my story and I'm sticking to it. :D

Last night I was really stressed out. I told myself not to watch the game. It's easy to get caught up in the fray. These Suns can be a real tease when they are having a good night.

Did anyone notice the Suns were playing better before Nash reentered the game at about the 5 minute mark? Sometimes Gentry needs to stick longer with combinations that are playing well.

Three possessions in a row, iirc, suns players went one on one. That's when Nash came back in.

No. We avoided a couple of last shots.

Nash should realize that the Suns need another shooter. A PG can run the offense and score in the same game.
At his age, can we expect Steve to play PG and SG along with defense at PG, without wearing him out before the end of the season?
