Whatever is in Ayton's eye, if he can't get it out he should sit for a second and let the trainer help him. He's been half in each play messing with his eye for like 3 minutes.

Also, glad to see Canaan get pulled for that dumb play and the coach pull him in for a chat.

Doncic is NBA ready, with that said he might already be at his ceiling. I don't see him getting quicker or jumping higher.

He will still get better at everything skill based. I think it is unfair to say at 19 this is his ceiling.

I like Ayton's defense. He is keeping his arms straight up. I'd rather he alter 10 shots than get three blocks and five fouls.

And that means those skills can't still be refined? He can certainly get better at shooting and his footwork and decision making will continue to get better. Most great players continue to get better into their late 20s and they pretty much never increase in athleticism in the process.

After watching the way they're running this offense, I'm higher on the Crawford signing. In a good way. I think he'll fit in well.

Ayton doesn't block as many shots as I'd like but he sure alters his fair share.

Defense as a whole looks better but still a few lapses here and there. They're competing on that end much harder than the preseason though so it's encouraging. Then again, I don't expect Dallas to be lighting the world on fire offensively.
