I thought Canaan played well. He missed Ariza on one play, got shoved by Jordan on the previous play. He looked fine otherwise.

I have been pushing that Canaan is a decent player and that we aren't completely screwed with him starting. He isn't amazing, but he is solid.

Anderson gets a D+ for that half, his D was actually pretty good in a few spots and he got some boards but he couldn't hit the broadside of a barn.

I'd like to see Ayton challenge more shots. There were times when a Mavericks player was being defended by a Suns player where Ayton could have come over and blocked or challenged the shot.

I am kinda mixed on that. Especially in the first half. I don't want him fouling out trying too much on D. Want him on the floor in the fourth when we need a key block.
