The Mavericks visit the Suns on Sunday with a 3 p.m. Arizona start time. They have lost 7 out of their last 8 games. The Suns broke a 13 game losing streak with their win over the Thunder.

From the ESPN Preview regarding Ulis.

The 21-year-old has recorded five double-doubles in 14 games since replacing Bledsoe as the starter. He's scored in double figures in each of his last seven games.

Since the All-Star break, he leads all rookies in assists per game (7.1) and ranks sixth in scoring (12.3).

Ulis drew the primary defensive assignment on Westbrook on Friday night. Much was made of the MVP candidate missing a record-setting triple-double by two assists, but it should be noted he was harassed into 6-for-25 shooting.

"He's played two top point guards in the NBA," Suns coach Earl Watson said of Ulis' recent matchups with Westbrook and Charlotte's Kemba Walker. "He has impacted the game against both guards."

The Mavs and Kings have nothing to gain from winning. It's all about positioning for the lottery.

I figured something like that...We aren't the only bad boys on the block. Looks like they're in a dogfight with three other teams. This game could get ugly.

Ulis leads all rookies in assist rate for the year and among those that have played a hundred minutes or more he has the highest assist/TO ratio, at 2.9. Needless to say, he also leads the team in those stats. He's quite close to Chris Paul in those two stats his rookie year - 7.3 ast/36 vs 7.8 and 2.9 ast/to vs 3.3. Paul improved quite a ways past those numbers, of course... but Ulis's off to a great start.

Based on who our last 2 games are against I would imagine we will win at least one more unless we rest at least a couple key players.

It would be stupid if we didn't rest some guys. If Booker and Warren both play then yeah we could win. At a minimum they should limit their minutes.

OK, how do I watch the game today? I have a directv password, but I am looking for a directv app to watch the game and no luck. I went to the fox sports web site and they do not show games. Anyone watch on the computer?

I don't like to look backwards but the Suns would have been sitting pretty if they had lost to the Thunder

It probably doesn't help but DirecTV is showing the Suns game on FoxAZ Plus, channel 686-1.

I usually google for free streams on the internet.

I so like Tyler Ulis. He may turn into a starting PG someday like Isaiah Thomas.

I still believe that whole triple double thing really threw a monkey wrench on that game. The Thunder choked because of it and the suns drew major inspiration from it.

What a goofy thing to happen!

Westbrook was trying to pass too much which messed up his game. Actually I think Thunder players were under more pressure than him because they had to make shots. Eddie Johnson was smart. He said the Thunder should have brought in some smaller players to help Westbrook. I think he was right.

I hope we lose today, and in the best case Lakers beat Minnesota so we can actually try to win against Sacramento.

We must not lose the #2 position.

Bender comes into the game late 1st quarter. This is a reason to watch the game.

Bender goes down low to get the basket. It's nice to see.
