Sweet.

Right decision, IMO.

Give him a game to get his feet wet, and work with him over the BYE on whatever issues come up.

Good. I look forward to it. I hope the Cardinals surprise me and pull off the upset on Sunday against the Saints.

I just hope he survives the game...Gregg Williams will be bringing the house almost every play, and with the way our O-line has been pass blocking...yikes.

that might be better for Hall. He is a little more like Kurt where he has a quick release, where as Derek just sits there. ugh

I actually have something to cheer for for the first time this season. Even if it doesnt work there is a bit of hope. I had no hope and no cheer for DA.

It would be hilarious if the 9ers pulled Smith by the time they play the Cards. Just sayin. ;)

Just dumped Hasselbeck and added Hall to my fantasy team. I will continue to start Schaub but right now Max is my bye week QB.

It's official. This season is a rebuilding year, the playoffs have pretty much been written off. Yes, I knew that already but now even the illusion of competing for the playoffs is gone.

Oh well. I'll show up on Sunday and hope for the best.

in any other division this would be giving up playoffs, in this division its a step towards the playoffs getting a qb who can at worst run to make something out of nothing.

Hall isn't really a running QB. He's more mobile than Anderson, but he only ran for 200 yds his entire college career.

Exactly, what he can do is move around and buy time to get the ball off, if has any protection at all. We saw Sunday if the protection is not there Hall will get sacked just like DA does or Kurt or Matt did.

I don't know where people got the idea he is a runner, maybe that TD run in the preseason? He's more agile than Warner, Matt or DA were, but none of them were mobile at all.

Yeah, he'll be starting at QB the week after. Just as soon as someone cleans up the Max Hall stain left behind by our O-line and the Saints pass rush.
