Good girl!

I'm the coolest chick I know. :)

GREAT FIGHT, Suprised that it wasn't unanimous....but was expecting that judge to score it a draw.

Yeah, I found that surprising as well. The fight itself wasn't all that fabulous, but it was nice to see it go the full 12 rounds. The three fights prior to the main event were pretty good. Not a bad way to spend $55.

The fight absolutely sucked.

Mayweather:

Punch, dance, punch, dance

De la Hoya:

Do nothing until against the ropes and then flail wildly.

Hopefully one of them got a kiss after a night of dancing. Any free UFC fight or WWE match would put this fight to shame and wouldn't cost so much money.

Oscar is one of the most accurate punchers in the history of boxing. The fact that he looked like he was flailing is credit to Mayweathers defense.

De La Hoya looked old, out of shape, and outclassed. The only reason it was a split decision was because he is the Golden Boy on Cinco de Mayo.

What a disgrace that Oscar actually got a Judge to give him the W... I wouldn't say Oscar looked old & out of shape though... He actually gave Floyd the toughest fight Mayweather has ever had - and the fight still sucked... Goes to show you how great of a defensive fighter Mayweather really is. Nobody can hit the guy... nobody...

I agree that it was a disgrace that a judge gave him the W. I was rather stunned about that one.

I disagree, however, that de la Hoya didn't look old.

I dont mean this as an insult Chris but you must not watch a lot of boxing. Oscars output was amazing for a 34 year old. HE is much slower no doubt, he is stronger however and his stamina was out of this world.

Dont believe me? go 1 round at his pace see if your still standing. To walk someone down all night and throw that amount of punches is amazing at 34.

I do agree with you however that it was only a split decision because he is Oscar in Las Vegas. But still, I hate someone winning a title like Mayweather does. Its just unmanly lol

Yeah thought so. :) A boxer cannot sustain what those guys do over 12 rounds. THey would be dead lol

I think its amazing those MMA guys do 5 minute rounds that is serious conditioning.

I just hate plunking down money to watch a fight that could easily end in 10 seconds.
