"Analysis: Warmack is a big, strong, nasty lineman with good smarts and athleticism. He shows awareness, is an easy mover in pass protection and has power as a run-blocker. The best guard I've evaluated in the past decade, Warmack is the rare interior lineman worthy of a top-10 overall pick."

Sounds like someone the Cards need on their "new & improved" O-line....

Keim has said repeatedly that the team has to get stronger and nastier on the O-line. This guy fits the bill, and unlike some on this board, McShay and others do not see him as a reach.

There are no QBs worth taking at #7. You draft him if he is there.

If he is not there, I don't know what to do. If he is there and the Cards don't take him, I'll be pissed.

because I am dead set on this guy, he wont be on the board at #7. Curious to see the mocks start coming as I dont know who picks before us nor their needs.

#5 on McShay's list was OL Fisher. Warmack first option, Fisher second option if Warmack is gone????

That must mean McShay feels Warmack is better than DeCastro (who was described similarly a year ago).

Between Warmack and Cooper the difference isn't all that great.

Warmack had off games last season too.

Warmack will go higher, will he be the better pro? Nobody knows, not McShay or anyone.

Warmack without a doubt is my selection. Our current guards are worse than our rookie OTs and Levi Brown looks like a pro bowl player compared to them vet guards. Warmack would instantly make this OL 50% better just as a rookie in my opinion

Good ponts.Coopers pretty good also.Warford the G from Kentucky is ranked 3rd best OG.might be worth checking out in RD 2 if Cards pick another position at #7.

I'm all for Warmack as long as Joeckel or a top pass rusher isn't available.

it would not hurt my feelings at all if the Cardinals picked those two guys in the first two rounds.........not sexy, but finally getting some of what the team actually needs...

The Cards have always been labeled a soft team. We've never been a running team that physically imposes our will on the opponent. Drafting two talented guys like Warmack and Warford would change our identity. Run down their throats and boom play action.

Gil Brandt has Warmack going at #4 to the Eagles and the Cards take Matt Barkley @ #7.
