The Cards have always been labeled a soft team. We've never been a running team that physically imposes our will on the opponent. Drafting two talented guys like Warmack and Warford would change our identity. Run down their throats and boom play action.

This. Our defense has seldom been labeled soft no matter how well they played, but our offense has been seen as pasties for quite some time

I've read that teams are taking Jarvis Jones off their board and that he may slide in the draft. If he is there at #7 ARZ NEEDS/SHOULD/WILL take him. An elite pass rusher that is drawing comparisons to Von Miller would be too good to pass up. If he is gone by #7 then I think ARZ should take Warmack. If they do get Jones at #7 then Warford could be the pick at #38 and a QB like Jones or Manuel could be ARZ's pick in Round 3.

Sign me up for any of the following 3 draft scenarios:

Jarvis Jones / Larry Warford / EJ Manuel

or

Chance Warmack / Alex Okafor / Landry Jones

or

Chance Warmack / Matt Barkley / Chase Thomas

I'm happy as long as they go BPA at #7. The point is, that guard is usually never the BPA within the first half of round 1 and Decastro last year proved that. Everyone said he was a once in a decade type of player and he lasted until the early 20's.

Fyi.....

RT @AddieJoss Titans will NOT pass on Warmack if he's there @ 10 - Good player. Not sure GM Ruston Webster's answer to 6-10 season is any OG

Obviously the Cardinals need to get more physical up front and elsewhere. If the Super Bowl proved anything it's that you have to match SF's physicality and chipiness if you're going to compete with them.

The Whis/Graves tandem took giant steps backward when they were unable or unwilling to retain and/or motivate the two most physical players on the 2008 Super Bowl team in Anquan Boldin and Deuce Lutui. I am optimistic that the Steve Keim-Bruce Arians tandem will not repeat that tragic episode in Cardinal history. :koolaid:

If either Eric Fisher or Chance Warmack is there, I hope 'we' run to the podium.

on offense, I agree. I don't think Lutui was workable. But losing Q did suck. A LOT. I loved him. The guy is all heart on that field. But considering we got Rhodes and Washington out of it, I don't know that I could call it a step backwards, let alone a "giant step backwards"

It's a giant step backward in physicality, especially when coupled with the retirement of Gerald Hayes, our big thumper in the middle. Washington and Rhodes have talent especially Washington, but neither is all that physical IMO.

???

Rhodes is so underrated on this board. He's been great for us. And both are plenty physical IMO

If he's that good, he'll be gone by 7...just like we thought Joe Thomas would fall to us. Everyone had Colt McCoy would be taken at the top.....nope.

1. Luke
2. Warmack

there are 3 Olinemen worth taking by 7 (along with a few great pass-rushers). One will be there, I'd bet on it
