Mar. 28—School: Goodhue

Year: Senior

Position: Forward

2024-25 statistics: 18.5 points (50% on 2-pointers, 35% on 3-pointers, 80% on free throws), 8.5 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 assists per game.

Why she made the team: Lodermeier was the centerpiece of a Goodhue team that was ranked No. 1 from the beginning of the season until the end. She was a premier scorer (18.5 ppg.) and rebounder (8.5 rpg.) and seemed to always be at her best against the toughest competition. Lodermeier, also a rugged defender and extremely strong, will play next season at Division II Upper Iowa University.

School: Stewartville

Year: Junior

Position: Guard

2024-25 statistics: 22 points (52% 2-pointers, 35% 3-pointers, 85% free throws), 3 assists, 6 rebounds, 3 steals per game.

Why she made the team: Shindelar, also our Post Bulletin All-Area Player of the Year, has turned into a master on the basketball court. She is dynamic, yet controlled and no moment ever seems too big for her. A great all-around athlete, that shines through in basketball where she does pretty much everything well and has the poise to make great decisions. Plus, she can really shoot, as she averaged 22 points on 52% 2-point shooting, 35% on 3-point shooting and 85% on free throws. The 5-foot-11 Shindelar has committed to play in two years at Division I South Dakota State University.

School: Byron

Year: Senior

Position: Guard

2024-25 statistics: 22.6 points (77% on free throws), 6.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.9 steals per game.

Why she made the team: Harvey, who will play next season at Division I University of North Dakota, was a do-it-all player for Byron. That included on the defensive end where she had multiple games of at least six steals. She averaged 22.6 points per game.

School: John Marshall

Year: Senior

Position: Forward

2024-25 statistics: 17.1 points, 15.7 rebounds per game.

Why she made the team: At a sturdy and quick 6-foot-2, and a knack for finding the ball, Seifert was one of the top rebounders in the state. And she can also score (17 ppg.). Seifert, who will play next year at North Iowa Area Community College, had a game of 32 points and 27 rebounds which earned her National Athlete of the Week honors from Sports Illustrated.

School: Winona Cotter

Year: Senior

Position: Guard/forward

2024-25 statistics: 20.6 points (53% 2-pointers, 43% 3-pointers), 4.2 assists, 6.4 rebounds, 3.2 steals per game.

Why she made the team: Sauer, a fast and quick 5-foot-11 senior with a deft shot, did loads of damage despite continually getting double teamed. Sauer shot a gaudy 53% overall and 43% on 3-pointers. Also a strong defender, Sauer will play next season at Division II Augustana University (S.D.).

School: Kasson-Mantorville

Year: Senior

Position: Guard

2024-25 statistics: 19.9 points (74 3-pointers), 5.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.1 steals per game, 12 charges taken.

Why she made the team: An intense player, Carrier is as good and lethal on the defensive end as on offense. Her 2.1 steals per game and 12 charges taken exemplifies her warrior mentality. Carrier, smooth and explosive, will play next season at Division II Northern State University.

School: Caledonia

Year: Junior

Position: Guard

2024-25 statistics: 20.6 points (52% on 2-pointers, 34% on 3-pointers), 3.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 3.5 steals per game.

Why she made the team: Klug came up with one 20-plus point game after another starting about one third into the season and never let up. She's got a great 3-point stroke and complements that with an ability to get to the rim. She also plays a rugged style that belies her lean build.

School: Austin

Year: Senior

Position: Guard

2024-25 statistics: 22 points (1,595 career points), 5.4 rebounds. 3.7 assists, 3.7 steals per game.

Why she made the team: Despite being hounded by multiple defenders each game, the 5-foot-9 Agwa still feasted. She averaged 22 points per game. She also grabbed her 500th rebound this season and averaged 5.4 boards per game. Agwa led the team in steals and was near the top in assists and rebounds.

School: Mayo

Year: Freshman

Position: Forward

2024-25 statistics: 18.1 points, 11 rebounds per game.

Why she made the team: Dyer has proven herself as one of the best young players in the state. The jump she made from last year to this one was tremendous by the 5-foot-11, extremely smooth and athletic freshman. She went from a single-digit scorer to averaging 18 points and 11 rebounds this year. Also a great defender, Mayo was a plus-530 points when Dyer was on the floor this season.

School: Mayo

Year: Freshman

Position: Guard

2024-25 statistics: 16.6 points, 4 steals, 4 assists per game.

Why she made the team: Mills is the other part of Mayo's dynamic freshman tandem, Maggie Dyer the other. Already in her third year as a starter, Mills has the speed and quickness to get to the rim but has also added a dependable outside shot. She shot 35% on 3-pointers this season. Mills nursed a calf injury the last third of the season.

School: Dover-Eyota

Year: Senior

Position: Forward

2024-25 statistics: 12.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 2.1 steals per game. Palmby, a 6-footer who is an excellent athlete, is the first Dover-Eyota player to surpass 1,000 points and rebounds. She led the Eagles to the Section 1, Class 2A title game.

School: Byron

Year: Junior

Position: Guard

2024-25 statistics: 18.4 points (36% on 3-pointers, 76% on free throws), 4.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.9 steals per game.

Why she made the team: Ohm is one of the top juniors around and has shown she can do it all. She is also great in big games. In the Section 1, Class 3A final she hit 6 of 7 3-pointers and finished with 30 points. The 5-foot-11, quick and smooth Ohm is also a top defender and a developing leader.

School: Caledonia

Year: Senior

Position: Forward

2024-25 statistics: 15.5 points (48% on 2-pointers, 30% on 3-pointers), 6.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 2.9 steals per game.

Why she made the team: Offense is Foster's forte. The sweet shooting and driving left-hander can score in a variety of ways and showed that off in the state tournament. Foster will play next season at Division II Upper Iowa University.

School: Grand Meadow

Year: Senior

Position: Guard

2024-25 statistics: 19 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals, 3.5 assists per game.

Why she made the team: The 5-foot-11 Queensland was a do-everything player for Grand Meadow, including guarding all three positions and playing anywhere on the court on offense. Queensland can attack the rim with her excellent ball handling, shoot mid-range or knock down 3-pointers. She finished her career with 1,737 points and 913 rebounds. Queensland will play next year at Division III Gustavus Adolphus College.

School: Stewartville

2024-25 statistics: 13 points (52% on 2-pointers, 40% on 3-pointers, 80% on free throws), 3 assists, 8 rebounds, 2 steals per game.

Why she made the team: Rath, an extremely mobile 6-foot-1, is a terrific inside-outside threat and an excellent ball handler. Rath stepped into a bigger role this season and showed great flashes in big games. In two years, Rath will play at Division I University of St. Thomas.

Blooming Prairie: Claire Schwartz, Jr., guard (11.8 ppg., 4.8 rpg., 3.1 apg., 2.2 spg.); Elaine Schwarz, 8th grade, forward (8.5 ppg., 12.2 rpg, 2 apg., 1.8 spg.).

Byron: Kayla Stork, So., guard (6.2 ppg., 3 rpg., 5 apg., 2.5 spg., 77% free throws).

Caledonia: Nicole Banse, Jr., guard (11.2 ppg., 59% 2-pointers, 37% 3-pointers, 3.5 rpg., 3.5 apg.).

Cannon Falls: Livia Tennessen, So., guard (15.4 ppg., 7.8 rpg., 3.3 apg., 2.4 spg, 72.8% free throws).

Chatfield: Amaya Harmening, Jr., forward (12 ppg., 9 rpg., had games of 16 and 17 rebounds, physical presence).

Dover-Eyota: Nora Pristash, Sr., forward (10.8 ppg., 5.3 rpg., 2.1 apg., 2.6 spg.)

Goodhue: Natalie Thomforde, Jr., point guard (10 ppg., 4.5 rpg., 3 spg., 3.5 apg. A primary ball handler, scored from all three levels and a terrific defender).

Grand Meadow: Gracie Foster, Jr., guard (14.5 ppg., 7 rpg., 2 spg., 4 apg., a defensive bulldog); Aspen Kolling, Jr., forward (8.4 ppg., 5 rpg., 1 spg., 1 apg); Naomi Warmka, Jr., forward (6.3 ppg., 7 rpg., 1.5 spg., 2.1 apg.).

Hayfield/Schaeffer Academy: Lily Morrisey, Jr., forward (10 ppg., 10 rpg., 1.2 apg., 1.3 spg., 2 bpg.); Betsy Gillette, Jr., guard/forward (10.4 ppg., 7.7 rpg., 2.9 apg., 1.8 spg.); Jenna Christopherson, So., guard (13.2 ppg., 5.3 rpg., 2.2 apg., 1.4 spg.).

Lourdes: Lauren Hust, Jr., forward (16.7 ppg., 6.7 rpg., 2.8 spg., 77% free throws, 6-feet, quick and excellent at both ends of the court, honorable-mention All-State); Aaliyah Williams, So. point guard (12 ppg., 3 rpg., 3 apg, 35% 3-pointers, elite ball handler); Amelia Truty, 7th grade, guard (9.1 ppg., 3 rpg., 2 spg., 37% 3-pointers).

Pine Island: Jade Severson, Sr., center (12.8 ppg., 10.8 rpg., 4.5 bpg., 52% FG, 23 double-doubles, 1 triple-double, 6-feet-2).

Plainview-Elgin-Millville: Alyvia Engler, Jr., guard (20.4 ppg., 4.2 spg., 46% 2-pointers, 31% 3-pointers, 77% free throws, great speed and first step to get into the lane).

Red Wing: Izzy Guetzlaff, Jr., forward (14.2 ppg., 8.5 rpg., 2.3 spg., 1,106 career points, 9 double-doubles, scores from all distances).

Rushford-Peterson: Torryn Schneider, Jr., guard (11.4 ppg., 4.4 rpg., 5.1 apg., 3.6 spg., fierce competitor, fast and quick); Nadia Happel, Jr., guard (10.7 ppg., 2.6 rpg., 2.6 apg., 2.3 spg., 48% 3-pointers).
