Spring break didn't slow down the Iowa City area's top track and field athletes.
Here are the nominees for the Iowa City Press-Citizen's high school Athletes of the Week for March 17-23. Press-Citizen.com readers vote to decide this week's winners. Voting closes at 8 p.m. Thursday.
Players are listed in alphabetical order by last name.
Becker placed second in the 200-meters at the Hilltop Co-Ed Invitational on March 17.
The Liberty senior ran a time of 28.91.

Brown earned a pair of top five finishes at the Hilltop Co-Ed Invite.
The third-year Lightning placed second in the 800 meters (2:47.39) and fifth in the 1500 meters (5:41.47).
Haack earned second place in the shot put at the Hilltop Co-Ed Invite.
The third-year Little Hawk threw 40 feet, 4.5 inches to take home second place.
Herring placed second in the 55-meter hurdles at the Steve Rutz Indoor Co-Ed Meet on March 18.
Herring recorded a time of 9.25 in the event.
Timmerman placed first in the long jump at the Steve Rutz Starter Indoor Co-Ed Meet.
The third-year Clipper jumped 16 feet, five inches to take home gold. She was also a part of the third-place 4x200 and fifth-place 4x400 relay teams.
Higdon earned a pair of third place finishes at the Steve Rutz Starter Indoor Co-Ed Meet.
Higdon placed third in the 55-meter hurdles (8.34) and the high jump (six feet).
Ibrahim earned first place in the 55-meter hurdles at the Wartburg Invitational on March 18.
Ibrahim finished with a time of 7.86 to earn gold.
Lacy placed second in the varsity long jump at the University of Dubuque Boys Indoor Classic on March 20.
The third-year Little Hawk recorded a jump of 20 feet, seven inches.
Weiler earned first place in the 1600 meters at the Hilltop Co-Ed Invite.
The freshman ran a time of 4:50.41 to place first.
Wyldon placed second in the 60-meter dash at the Hilltop Co-Ed Invite.
The third-year Lightning ran a time of 7.22.
