Mets agree to deal with Santana, reportedly add Kemp

The New York Mets agreed to a minor league deal with veteran right-hander Ervin Santana on Friday, and multiple reports indicated outfielder Matt Kemp also signed a similar deal. Santana struggled with the Chicago White Sox earlier this season, going 0-2 with a 9.45 ERA in three starts. He served up six homers in just 13 1/3 innings before being designated for assignment.
