Godley couldn't throw a strike in the first two innings, walked a bunch but only gave up one run. Then he turned it on through almost the 7th with a mix of strikeouts, ground balls and a few fly outs.

Offense was quiet (minus a Lamb homer early on) until I think the 8th inning where Tomas, Mathis and Descalso homered and we broke it open.

Suck it, Mets!

We've been lucky that the division has largely been treading water alongside us. We have to start stringing together series wins because eventually the dodgers and/or giants always seem to wake up and distancing themselves from us. The great start is in the rear view mirror now. We can't play .500 if we want even a chance to make some lyjung interesting later in the season.
