Damn Penny has been off this team for a few years and outta the NBA for a couple of years and yet some of you still cant resist but to knock him, even when the news has nothing to do with our Suns.

Why is there even a 3 page thread about this? Is he signing with the Suns?

Before Tom Gugliotta and Jason Kidd went down with injuries that Phoenix Suns team was arguably the best in the league. They were at least right arrow with the Lakers.

That said, bill is Tim Duncan's injury that got us past the San Antonio Spurs as much as it was Hardaway and Backcourt 2000.

Understand isn't the right word. I've understood for a while that there was ill feelings towards him. I guess I am a bit surprised at the magnitude of it.

i'm kind of with you here. I definitely hated that the dude was on the team because of his injuries and the fact that his injuries made him a salary albatross, but I never hated the guy because he really didn't do anything wrong. It wasn't his fault the FO at the time was doing panic moves in successive years after the lockout fiasco.

Yeah I never hated Penny personally, just the situation the team was in with his contract. Only players I ever disliked personally on the Suns were Horry and Kidd.
