I was sitting there watching the game today thinking back to my first game attended in 1967. I was so excited. Had no idea of the decades of misery I would endure.
Grammatical issue I believe...decades of misery you are enduring and it appears you (and the gang) will continue to endure.

Never happen. The Cards are Bidwill’s income & basis for his status

Then hopefully the owner chooses to save money long term by investing in a good GM and scouting.

My fandom started in 64. My Dad & I were diehard baseball Cardinal fans, so we thought it would be only fitting to be football Cardinal fans. WRONG!
Actually PA, if you believe it’s important to maintain balance in order to lead a happy life, then you and your Dad made an ideal choice: one Cards franchise that’s successful and consistently rewards its fans, another that…well, isn’t and doesn’t.

Man that's the truth. I'm the same as PA. I remember watching Lou Brock steal bases on "Monday Night Baseball" and later cheering for willie mcgee, ozzie smith and keith hernandez as they came back to beat Milwaukee in the 82 WS.

Then the mid-nineties teams that had Ken Lankford, Ron Gant and Todd Stottlemyer (I'll never forgive Tony La Russa for starting Stottlemyer on three days rest against the Braves in game six of the 1996 NLDS. What the hell was he thinking!? lol...).

And all the great STL baseball teams that have come after that.

If there ever was an antithesis of the St. Louis/Phoenix/Arizona Football Cardinals it is most certainly, and without question, the St. Louis baseball Cardinals.

MB neither 'needs' nor wants to sell this family legacy.

You'll go to your grave knowing this as one of the certainties of life.
I don't know, with teams selling for billions these days, legacy may not mean as much as it used to. Especially, when the state of this team the last few years has really tarnished the old Chicago Cardinal legacy.

Possibly quadrupling your net worth is one hell of an incentive especially with a possible legal scandal you are facing with the GM and an ex-coach and all the other headaches this season has caused.

It's a family business, and nothing is happening that they haven't seen before.

I wish Mike Bidwill would sell the team.

He is easily the worst owner in the NFL and it annoys me he doesnt suffer any repercussions for it.

Agree. They have been Same Ol Cardinals before and now they are again Same Ol Cardinals. No one knows how to handle it better than them.

The best way to get to these types is to take money from them. If I was a season ticket holder this year there is absolutely no way I would renew next year with serious changes being made. I'm going to root for this team still but I will not buy a ticket or any more mech until I see them make a real effort to right this team.

Can the nfl (cause a lack of general interest towards a franchise) force an ineptitude ownership to sell or rename the franchise and moving it somewhere else?
