1) Miami Dolphins

Hoping to boost their pass rush, the Dolphins traded up to snag Dion Jordan with the third overall pick, but he's had almost no impact thus far, collecting a single sack in seven games (no starts). His struggles are especially rough considering that Miami, currently in the midst of a four-game losing streak, could use the help.

Other than the RBs and Badger, we haven't gotten much from our picks.

Saw on The Insiders that Larry Warford is a beast. Wish we could have nabbed him. We'd have been set at guard for the foreseeable future.

Okafor is on IR and Swope (not Swift) is on retired reserved due to his concussion issues.
Of course Cooper being on IR is the reason we didn't make the best list instead of a non mention. Cooper would have been kicking but, HB is kicking but and Duke is proving to be in contention for steal of the draft.

Watford is raw but I'm excited to see how he comes on next year. DC Jefferson was actually active last week and got in on a couple of snaps.

Minter is going to make LOS or DWash sit?

There were a few people who would have had a fit if we had taken Fluker. Looks like he's doing really well in San Diego.

If we had intentions of picking up Dansby, I wish they would have just spent the pick on Geno or another O-Lineman.

I won't disagree with this thought. Minter has big shoes to fill and his scouting reports indicate he won't be good in pass D. He has to be better than Brinkley in Pass D. Maybe LOS prices himself out of our CAP next year and Minter becomes an incredible pick.

If BASK believes Minter was a true BPA pick then I'm good with that. If they were looking to fill a need then I'm disappointed in the pick unless he does become Willis.

Dansby was insurance for Washington who was suspended and facing other legal issues. It worked out even better than we thought and Minter can be eased in.

Listening to NFL radio last night Brandt mentioned that Arizona probably should have made the list. Obviously mentioned the Honey Badger and Ellington. Brought up Cooper, Minter and Taylor as well.

Yeah, if Cooper isn't hurt we are on that list, plain and simple. Best draft overall since 2004 for us IMO.

Listening to NFL radio last night Brandt mentioned that Arizona probably should have made the list. Obviously mentioned the Honey Badger and Ellington. Brought up Cooper, Minter and Taylor as well.

No surprise with Tavon Austin. That was an easy one to call. Raiders screwed up the first round which isn't surprising. Dion Jordan always seemed like an OLB and yet the Dolphins have him at DE.

The Minter pick might be one that we regret long term. It isn't so much about him is we spent a 2nd round pick on a SILB who isn't a freak athlete. Dansby is showing that it is better to have two better athletes inside rather than a coverage guy and a thumper.
